I, too, would like to see the full episode as well!
I would love to see the full episode of this please.
I was *SO HAPPY* for her!! 🥹
Where did you find this?
Could you show us what she bought? And when else has a contestant been able to buy a car or something else really big from winning a regular round (NOT bonus round!) in the shopping era?
Glad she decided to stop and solve at $44,300 unlike Terri in 1985 who blew $62k on an incorrect letter
And as far as I know, that is a record that still stands to this day (for winnings accumulated in a 'normal' [not speed-up] round).
In 1994, there was a contestant who racked up 45k with the puzzle James Madison Wisconsin in the speed up round!
She had 3 Buicks, one as a bonus from Round 2 and two more from buying with that $44,300
Unbelievable
To my knowledge, that's still a single round record to this day, BTW was this during the shopping era?
@@nextbarker2702 they were still shopping at this time.
@@412GameShowsthe shopping was gotten rid of later in 1987 on the syndicated version and then it was gotten rid of in the daytime version in 1989
I never seen that much money in the episode of 1987.
No one needs this much money! This is ridiculous. He should give it to a charity for homeless migrants.
