i grew up in E/506th Reenacted (living history group, joined at 17 ) so i got to know many of the org Troopers of " Band Of Brothers" i drank ALOT with Wild Bill , he did sit me down and told me the real story of how he earned the nickname and it's not in any of the books or series. but it did happen on D-Day and involved 2 german P38 pistols (he had lost his gear and weapon on the jump) as the ambush scene in esp #2 is wrong. and boy the stories they had about the battle of the bulge . don't even get me started on the LT. Dike debate lol.

My great uncle was killed during this battle. He stepped on a mine, there was nothing left. I have his dog tags.
Pleaaaaaaaaase do Sabaton's video on Verdun. The history is nuts, the music is one of their best, and the video definitely IS their vest.
