everybody should be in a "conference" BUT i think everybody should play LESS conference games a year. i'm tired of seeing the SAME MATCHUPS year after year after year and teams only playing maybe 2-3 out of conference games. plus bigger conferences get preferential bias because they are playing each other EVEN THOUGH they are losing games just like Alabama this year who lost 3 games but the conference was strong. who cares! you lost the games. other teams deserve shots unless you want to see the same teams in the playoffs every damn year. and Notre Dame gets a free pass into the playoffs without having to play a conference championship game. that isn't right either.
Notre dame will never join a conference. 4 million a game in the tournament. Compared to 250k for a conference team if they win. Times 4 games if you win it all you get 1 million. Compared to a non conference you get 16 million. Im not a mathematician but what would you choose
