I recently bought the 77” C3 and I can attest that it doesn’t feel dim at all. It’s a lot brighter than the mid range LCD I came from and works great even during the middle of the day with 3 windows in the room. It’s been an excellent performer
Just picked up the C3, and let me just say that brightness is not a problem! In fact I've had to reduce the brightness due to eye strain. Fantastic picture.
@TommeeKnocker ok from what I've researched the C4 is supposed to have a slightly higher brightness level. However with my C3 I've had to reduce the brightness level, because it is simply too bright and find myself experiencing eye strain. I would suggest that you do your own research to determine the best choice for you. Perhaps going to a 55 C3 that may be about the same price as a C4 48.
@TommeeKnocker Yeah I had the same problem with my roommate, but I never told her the size until it arrived. "Can't send it back now" 😉 Either way it's a great TV and I'm sure that you will enjoy it 👍

Got the 55" C3 on Black Friday, paid only 1,080 euros where I live (in 30 installments interest free). I am impressed with the image quality, coming from a 10 years old midrange LCD Samsung. No greyish blacks, blooming and clouding here. Perfect blacks and vivid colours. Infinite contrast. I believe the Samsung S90C is even better, but it's not DTS compatible, which I really need for films.

I bought the 65 inch C3 for 1695 euros and it is a very good OLED TV for this price. I also have the 55 inch CX and it has been working perfectly for 3 years and still regular CX updates from LG
Picking up my LG C3 55 today for £1499 including a sound bar worth £499. I think that’s quite a good deal, considering some well known shops are still selling the TV alone for £1699😊
I’ve got the 55” LG CX which I’ve had for 3 years now. I’ve seen the C1, 2 and now 3 be released and I’ve read that there’s little appreciable upgrade from the 2 to the 3, but I’m sure they’d be an upgrade to my CX. Hello all things tech, I bought LG C3 evo 42 inches but 2 small side stands for table top which come inside the box are missing, when I told LG about this they are saying either you will get wall mounted kit or small side stands which should have already been given inside the TV box. What should I do any ideas?
Definitely interested how this stacks up against G3 and whether the huge price difference to the G3 is really worth it. Not really interested in the Samsung but would be good to see a comparison of this TV against the Sony A80L which I believe is it's direct competitor
Quick answer... not enough to justify its purchase. I own both. Moved our 65" C1 to a guest room. Other than our new C3 77" being bigger... when view side by side neither me nor any of my family members could see any difference in picture quality. In fact, at times the C1 seemed to have a picture that was more crisp/sharper... but that may be due its smaller screen size. WebOS in the C3, good or bad, would not be a reason to buy a C3! NET: If your C1 is still performing flawlessly I'd wait unit the C4's start coming down in price later this year.
Does this panel have pink tint issues like the previous models? LG needs to fix that if so. For the money people dish out there should be no pink tint anywhere
Absolutely... trust me... the mounting holes are on the back but" the C3 only comes with a stand... no wall mount of any kind. its like going from an iPhone 13 Pro to a 14 Pro. Minor upgrades so not necessary worth the upgrade unless you are coming from an older model television.
It’s not bright enough as usual. My LG OLED is absolutely horrible when watching HDR programs and playing games. Hopefully the MLA layer on the G3 makes it to less expensive models soon and I’ll buy that but I’m not interested in anything LG offers this year and I’m not paying $150 more for a stand for the G3 so I will wait….
The TV has a perfect picture, I'm not talking about it, but compared to an older LG I had, it lacks some things! Such as : 1. It doesn't have the time machine to record programs. I was told by LG that this feature has been removed due to copyright. I consider this nonsense, since when can you not record a TV show? This issue was settled in the courts 40 years ago when the Videos first came out. Today even a simple decoder does this. 2. Switching between satellite and regular channels sucks. 5 to 6 moves to do this, where as in the old days it was done with 2 clicks since you could save your channels in the menu where you also save Aps. 3. It does not have an RCA output so that you can also adjust the voice through it, to connect a simple stereo. 4. It does not have a power plug at the back so you can easily remove the TV from the furniture. It was so expensive to remove it. Only LG knows it!!!! 5. It sticks to video files from a USB stick! And this is spastic when you want to see any movie, because when it unstuck itself it don't synchronize the sound with the image. Related video here: th-cam.com/video/N5mufAoKS20/w-d-xo.html&t=26s 6. It doesn't have miracast so you can see the image of your mobile phone on the TV
is not even "similar" in price compared to the S95C, is at least 500£ less. It's much closer to the S90C in terms of price, so i think that tv should be the benchmark.
Is it true that all OLED owners WILL get dead pixels eventually? It's the reason I don't want to buy one. Burn-in prevention has been improved, but seeing videos of literally hundreds of dead pixels has put me off. Shame, because apart from that, I really want one.
I take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. If you have a bad meal or service at a restaurant you are more like to complain to your friends than raving about a restaurant. If pixels (by the hundreds?) were dying left and right... you be reading tons of complaints and seeing class action lawsuits.LG developed the OLED and many of todays most popular sets get their OLED screen components from LG. I'm on my 3rd LG OLED and have never had a dead pixel.
Nothing new same as years before LG has always been pretty good with their old LED TVs but I left LG TVs long time ago. I got tired up the same picture quality performance year after year The only noticeable difference now between LG TVs is that they are setting the brightness level higher so it’s a little brighter than years pass, but the picture quality to me is the same
Maybe their recent budget TVs are garbage because I've had a UE55 since 2012 that's only just started to fail. Anyway, I'm definitely going to pick this LG C3 as its pricing is perfectly positioned, and it's got killer features.

5. It sticks to video files from a USB stick! And this is spastic when you want to see any movie, because when it unstuck itself it don't synchronize the sound with the image. Related video here:

6. It doesn't have miracast so you can see the image of your mobile phone on the TV
is not even "similar" in price compared to the S95C, is at least 500£ less. It's much closer to the S90C in terms of price, so i think that tv should be the benchmark.

Can c3 can watch imax enchance movie?
This for $1699 or s90c for $1999?
HomeKit ?
@@eltonnoway7864I've never seen a video of a non-OLED getting 100s of dead pixels. Have a look here on TH-cam. Why are you on your 3rd OLED?
Nice design but I can get a 65inch Samsung S95 for the price of the 55inch C3. I'd rather have the extra screen real estate.
Bei mir existiert diese silberne kontaktplatte bei 1:00 nicht und bei euch??
once you try "ambilight" you cannot go back!

all this and no size?
Nothing new same as years before LG has always been pretty good with their old LED TVs but I left LG TVs long time ago. I got tired up the same picture quality performance year after year The only noticeable difference now between LG TVs is that they are setting the brightness level higher so it’s a little brighter than years pass, but the picture quality to me is the same
Where's the head to head?
Dirty screen effects are a huge deal
LG C2: 😃
LG C3: 🤩
LG C4: 💥
Anybody here who has the G2? Which is better in all aspects, is it the G2 or the C3?
You mean c2?
You can't compare the g2 to the c3 that makes no sense
@@blacklyfe5543 yes you can
I got this TV since today and i could not find any way to do DNLA from LG menu
Samsung is shit, brightness means nothing when the TV only lasts for 2yrs
Maybe their recent budget TVs are garbage because I've had a UE55 since 2012 that's only just started to fail.
Anyway, I'm definitely going to pick this LG C3 as its pricing is perfectly positioned, and it's got killer features.
If you're on the fence, don't buy it. My LG has caused me nothing but issues.
How so?
Which model? I've used a C1 and a C2, both without issues.

???
@@z3ro7o !?!?
Not worth the upgrade
The C3 is the same price as the S90C, not the S95C. S95C is like $1,000 more than the C3 😂
agree C3 and S90C is competitors while G3 and S95C is competitors
