I am making Ducky Soaps and Cow Print Soaps today for our granddaughters 5th birthday party. These ducky soaps are adorable. I have been using Luna Ice Packs to ship my products out this summer. We have been having an extremely hot dry summer her in Texas.
This might not be the best idea in the world, but it also wouldn't hurt to include a notation in the product information either on the website (if selling on the web) that due to the ingredients or the type of product, the product does not stand up well to extreme heat, and that it should be retrieved as soon as possible upon delivery. IDK, just a thought.
I’ve never had a problem with anything melting. But I pack it with shred. No ice pack needed. I ship my body butters ,oils , lip butters and sugar scrubs nothing has ever melted on me. U have to pack it well. U have to insulate the package I pack it with shred tight. Seriously tight. I don’t put any products on the outer walls of the box. I don’t use ice pack’s. But u really need to use a lot of shred n it won’t melt.
Yeah... my lotion bars melted at the street fair I sold at in June. A few ladies didn't care if they bought a half melted lotion bar though. However, now with the remaining... I don't even know what to do. Do I remelt and remold? I suppose I could.
I had to remelt some lotions and salves down and repackage in June. Now I only put one on my display tables and have the rest In a cooler with ice packs underneath the the table. I just made a sign stating I have these products in a cold cooler to keep them in them solid.
What are your summer shipping tips?!?!
zip lock bags, freeze everything put them in zip lock baggies from the dollar store then ship :)
Lol apparently conditioner bars do weird things in the heat too. ❤️
Thank you! I live in FL and will ship from here. Didn't even think of this. You're awesome!

Also a great idea! Especially during the summer months, a call to action thing on the homepage of the site would be helpful as well.
@@MrsSoapAndClay Awe, thanks!

Those are adorable!🐥
Thanks for the tips.
“Moist” it’s a weird word , summer ant 🐜 issues so sugar scrub becomes salt scrubs

Shred is a great option as well!
You said, "MOIST"! 🤣
Yes I did. 😅
Moist...
Wet...
Damp...
Soggy...
Squishy...
Steamy...
Just thought I would add onto the list of words that make people cringe. 🤣
