This may be the craziest hockey game ever made. Featuring a full campaign mode, power-ups, and even PLAYERS vs. REFS. This is TAPE TO TAPE.

Some of the names are absolutely glorious. The 7 foot tall guy for the Crusaders is named Sergei Lancelov which is perfection

Played the demo thanks to your recommendation, now I will have to definitely pick up the full product. Always great to play hockey games (ESPECIALLY ON PC, EA), and this looks like a fun addition!
Imagine if the devs added Rostislav Nasherov in Tape to Tape, I think he would be a great fit there. Or at least as a cameo or as a reference. 😁

You pick up superstars as you progress, but you only unlock one new one per run. Also, you use the rubber in the store to upgrade McShaggy, unlock new talents, and unlock new superstars.
Btw, I think the reason why they keep talking about Mcshaggy and golf, is because he used to be a golfer but he switched to hockey to save the world.

Seems like all you gotta do is send player on breakaway cut from one side of net to other and bury it back hand or fore hand w.e. it is, I've noticed that way to many (glitch goals) and game seems way to easy on even hard mode due to things like that.. I know it's in early access or w.e., but I'm j.w. I've played the NHL series since 91, so is it worth it or am I just going to breeze through easy,med, and hard first try kinda thing and then just have a game sitting waiting for an update to spend my rubber if anything even worth it at that point.. games seems like it almost plays like nhl 94.. so you can use most of the same goals that worked back then if you remember them?

I love nhl hockey. Bought every year but im sure I'm not the only one that thinks it is mostly a yearly rehash with the odd new animation and minor gameplay changes.
The nhl monopoly needs to end. Innovation never happened when everything stays the same.

Its a good game YES but have a lot of work still to be done ... Your goalie Sucks hard. Using the pucks to upgrade your player doesnt affect jack shit honestly.. buying skills is bad at best you almost never see them. and for the random player they are soo bad that sometime your instant DONE ..
The game is fine and good but need a lot of work. Also dont even try to play with a keyboard XD exept if you want a challenge
