Love all your blogs, just post them! I teach 3 and 4 yoa and 1st and 2nd Angels (SpEd babies blended class- many are non-verbal and needing communication skills) and love your ideas, I adapt and differentiate them. I am not the most creative so I love to hear what others are doing!
I would love as series of vlogs based on the specific elements of your teaching week. e.g. a vlog dedicated to small groups, one for spelling, one for writing strategies, maths, etc etc etc. I teach the USA equivalent of 5th grade but if/when I move down through the grades I know you have so many gems in your videos it would be great to be able to have those grouped together. I'm basically trying to turn you into my library for 'how to teach 1st grade!' I think you are an outstanding teacher and am grateful for all you share. Oh, also a vlog specifically on your wall 'displays' - your walls looks like they work hard for you and your students I am constantly pausing your vlogs to examine your walls!

Do you laminate and THEN cut? Every time I do that the laminating paper peels up. What is your trick to make it work? I wanna do it that way bc it seems way faster.

That's so interesting that you have both twins in your class! I'm a twin and we had to be separated in school because my sister was super shy and would do both of our assignments, and I was social and would just talk LOL. I feel like normally twins are separated!
LOL that’s so funny! There’s actually two sets of twins in first grade. One of the sets I have both, and it works great for them. The other set is separated (I only have one) and it works great for them! Parent input was big in those choices, and all four twins are happy 🥳

That is so great that you are able to fit in that many small groups into your school day! I would love to hear more about your intervention hour. What are the other students doing in the classroom during that time when they are not meeting with you?
If they are in the room, they are 1:1 on iPads working for 30 minutes on Lexia and 30 minutes on ST Math! I have a 30 minute timer playing on the tv so they know when to switch to the other app. I say “if they’re in the room” because our interventionists and service providers are also pulling groups during that hour so about half of my class is in and out depending on their service times. It’s a well coordinated dance with lots of scheduling collaboration! 😂
