Greetings from Russia, you are making really cool videos. Keep on moving and cover blank spaces among harmonica vlogs. I recommend your activity to all interested in harmonica education.
For those one the fence with tongue blocking, It’s a must-have skill to really shine when playing acoustically. It’s possible to get away with only lip pursing when mic’d, but to really shine without an amp tongue blocking is the way to go!
Excellent video lesson Ed. You show great understanding of the genre and the importance of maintaining the groove whilst throwing in variations to keep people listening and dancing. Lovely stuff. Best wishes, Ricky
Excellent, lesson, great technical exercise..gotta be able to naturally switch between single notes, octaves and tongue blocking..this helps immensely..
Will be buying this one Ed, love these videos on the fox chase that you do, I have the first one and work on it regularly, isn’t the first one on a G harp though?
Thanks- really glad you're enjoying the vids! Yes it is on a G, not quite sure why I changed for this one, it's usually whichever harp I've been working on at the time and is playing better :) Ed
