That's funny that they planned a Rocky figure. I saw an interesting interview with Stallone at his office and he showed off his toy collection... its all Sly Stallone toys! If its got his face on it he has to have one. Lol what a guy
In my head-canon, the mouthpiece and hose were connected to a compartment in the back of his helmet that contained quick acting "performance enhancing substances" for when he wanted a "boost". Then after breakfast he started on the ^hard stuff^...
I like to thing that Big Boa was seen in the first cartoon. When Duke was captured & was forced to gladiator fight a local boss. Then some native woman gave him a bit of metal to brake the mind control crown. But a COBRA trooper & some one that looked like Big Boa saw her helping Duke. Duke hid the thing from the pat down & the show goes on from there.
Big boa is one of my personal favorite g.i joe characters. This video sorta makes me wish we got a 3rd g.i joe sunbow season that featured him and the fridge. Ah but at least he's getting a classified figure

Great vid as always, although I do really miss your parting thoughts, where do you place him as far as your preferences, or your general thoughts on his position in the GI Joe world as a whole. Love that you got to him though, such a silly fig!
I use to put the punch bag pole in Boa's hand and had him kicking Joe's @ss everyday. He use to catapult over Joe's and take on 10 at a time in my house. Top dog!
Fun fact about the boa constrictor: It's the only animal whose scientific name is the same as its English one. Fun fact about Big Boa: He enjoys fine wine, spontaneous ultra-violence, and long walks on the beach.
I wonder if that dial on his helmet is meant to feed him combat drugs through his helmet hose? But the tanks for it are stored on the back/sides and not by the mouthpiece. Cause he needed so much drug storage that he had to space it all around the helmet 😂😂
Big Boa is my favourite Cobra figure. Those mini boxing gloves and punching bag was just magic to me as a 7 year old 🤩🥊
I’m such a big fan of this figure. This was GI Joe to me, born in 82, I loved that zany sci fi edge when it was done right.
The sci-fi elements work a lot better for Cobra than they do for GI Joe IMHO.

Had him when I was a kid. Got him again, complete, in great condition, with file card, and from EBay.

Fan story for Boa.....he was injured and found by Cobra in a battle then brainwashed to serve Cobra.
