@@Grrimhildr yep, and that’s why they had lots of text, to not bore you with the Same generic voice lines, you can use the voice in your head to fit a character how you see fit, unless you lack the capacity for that and every bit of information has to be tipped into your ear, into your brain until it settles, less voice acting gives more freedom compared to in game speech, while dialogue gives an aura of repetitive, boring, blatantly bad work

The reason why I am skeptical about Vehk achieving CHIM is the fact that he's known to be a good liar, (Seht spoke about it himself at one point IIRC) and he's shrouded in mystery for the most part, like the other tribunes. Even if he DID, we still don't know what CHIM is for sure. Is it just a state of awareness and enlightenment? Does it grant powers? We Just Don't Know
Finding vivec in morrowind was awesome and seeing his animations and just seeing a good type demi god, then there's this. So underwhelming cause of everyone in the temple the scene took away from how awesome getting into the temple was with all those other players.
Yeah, what really rubbed me wrong about Vivec in ESO was how grounded and sassy they depicted him to be. Instead of being aloof, seductive and incomprehensible, he was just some dude being your chummy acquaintance.

'Fan service'. It was a mistake to implement the Vivec character in this way, as he was far more iconic as an isolationist type. Beside, if the game developers truly wished for him to appear more active, Vivec's visage would have been better observed outside the Temple as opposed to just floating around in one spot.
I don't like that he seems so nice. In Morrowind, even despite his past heroic deeds I got the impression by the time he got to position at Vivec Temple he was a lot colder and emotionless.

Vivec was not a god, neither of the three tribunal gods, they used the dwemer tools on lorkhans heart to achieve godhood(if im well informed) In a way, that makes em gods,in another way they are still the mortals they were, they still have the mind, they are physical beings, daedra arent necesseraly phtsical beings, they use a physical form. Yeah, Zenimax ruined that somewhat androgynous look he had in TES3 by making him a buff greasy elf man. He was still ripped in TES3 but his design didn't scream "steroids" either. I guess for the sake of being "lore friendly!!" you could just say he decides to appear more male or female at will with his divine powers depending on how he's feeling.

Only a few, there's also a dozen others. Some famous, Queen Ayrenn of the Aldmeri Dominion is voiced by Kate Beckinsale (Underworld) and King Emeric of the Daggerfall Covenant, Bill Nighy (also Underworld lol). Generic npc's only have a standard number of VA's but most important npc's are uniquely voiced.

It was a mistake to implement the Vivec character in this way, as he was far more iconic as an isolationist type. Beside, if the game developers truly wished for him to appear more active, Vivec's visage would have been better observed outside the Temple as opposed to just floating around in one spot.
I always read it as VIVec not vivEC
Because that's how they characters pronounced it in Morrowind.
This makes me want to go through the original Morrowind again to see if it's possible to kills this ars... before killing Dagoth Ur.

I don't like that he seems so nice. In Morrowind, even despite his past heroic deeds I got the impression by the time he got to position at Vivec Temple he was a lot colder and emotionless.
He's a poet. Manipulation through words is his forte. I guess he also got more cynical by the time TES3 occurs.

Vivec actually turned himself into a hermaphrodite, a lot of the lore of the elder scrolls is in fact inspired by Hinduism, it's pretty interesting stuff.

I'm one of those people who never played Morrowind so I don't know what Morrowind's Vivec sounds like. And I'm very pleased the way he sounds in ESO.
@@Kris.G in the game itself, you don't ever hear vivec, but there are unused audio files of vivec where he basically sounds like satan. it's very different from the voice used in eso. i guess people don't like that he sounds so much more pleasant here, but i personally like his eso voice.

Azura, is a daedric prince,she was made because the two first gods divided their souls, she is not mortal.(i dont remember names i thinks it was auriel,sithis etc)and actually cared about her people too, she can be cruel but she is loving too, and if i recall correctly she helped the chimer a lot, other than that she welcomes mortals into her obliviom realm, im not the lore king, and thats a prob, but really who is truly a god?

Yeah, Zenimax ruined that somewhat androgynous look he had in TES3 by making him a buff greasy elf man. He was still ripped in TES3 but his design didn't scream "steroids" either.
I guess for the sake of being "lore friendly!!" you could just say he decides to appear more male or female at will with his divine powers depending on how he's feeling.

Compared to TES3 he definitely does. ESO Vehk is pretty buff. Even if he is using his male form even in Morrowind he didn't look as stronk as this by far.
ewok_111 He's obviously not as big as someone who goes to the gym but I'll repeat he looked remarkably different and thinner in TESIII. You can also see in some concept art that he's not meant to have the body shape he has in ESO at all. But oh well. More things this game got wrong, that's endless anyway.

@@Carrottime That doesn't inherently mean it'll affect his body shape. Almalexia still maintained her own..and technically, so did Seht before being murdered. The loss of access to the Heart only affected their powers.

Only a few, there's also a dozen others. Some famous, Queen Ayrenn of the Aldmeri Dominion is voiced by Kate Beckinsale (Underworld) and King Emeric of the Daggerfall Covenant, Bill Nighy (also Underworld lol). Generic npc's only have a standard number of VA's but most important npc's are uniquely voiced.
