Cleaning windows all day, watch window cleaning videos at night, when done smoothly and accurately makes me sleepy, better than a shot of Scotch, then I dream about window cleaning at night, wake up and start all over again, I love this job!
🤣
Finished work at 09:30pm today. Now its 01 am. Here we gooo xD Feel you buddy
I clean windows in Indianapolis, Indiana. I love the Unger 0-degree. Really cool tool. Thanks for the video. Well done.
😉🤜🏻🤛🏻
What company you work for?
Hello mate like I said the other day I get it with the unger thing for you but I couldn’t do any pole work with out using my phantom carbon and excellerater 2 with fliq all that tool changing takes to long keep up the good work mate
😊👍🏻
Going forward I will be showing different ways of achieving good quality work with different tools with the goal of helping as many as possible who may prefer different approaches and tool choices 😀
Point taken and respected Peter individuality is the key
All good buddy 😊
Thank you for your feedback and comments, really appreciated 🙏🏻
This is a great video.. informative and good for me as a beginner window cleaner
Having just received my S Plus and swingy handly thingy I thought I'd give them a go.
So...
We learn something new every day...
Don't we...
...My Master...who I now bow down before.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😵
Hi, good vidéo !!! I just come to buy last week a 0 degree with a Unger brass channel for the old school style. Best Regards from the French West Coast
Perfect! Glad you liked the video. All the best to you buddy 👍🏻
I just got the Unger Ergo tech ninja 40*. I’d really appreciate a video on it. I find I need to detail quite a bit. But I think that’s due to not having support on the edges for the rubber.
Hey Peter,
Your training program sounds interesting. Many people are going to benefit greatly from your experience. We are intrigued...😁👍
Hey brotha! I'm looking forward to this new venture. I love teaching and enjoy seeing others progress with their business. More info soon!
Great work I love the Unger s Plus and the Unger 0 degree hands down one of the best
😁🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@TradMan 👊🤙
Excellent video trad man
😉 hope it helps
@@TradMan yeah definitely. I know now I want to go mostly down the trad route. Pole work gives you options to increase services and improve safety. I have been and will soak up all info I can .
Great chanel,2 questions if you dont mind 1. Whats best for cleaning burd crap ect from windows... what type scraper steel, plastic? 2. Iv scratched a customers patio door ( used the mop end on glass ..miby a stone) can it be buffed out by a professional?
Your scrubber should of been ok, must have had grit on it. Scratches can be sorted but expensive
great teacher, thanks!
Black hot glass very common in Brisbane Australia, great video thank you.
Another good one 🙂
Question tho, do u rather use the unger here instead of the moerman because of the frames/seals? Or is it just to show the unger tools this time?
Yeah in this video I'm demonstrating the unger swivel combined with the splus channel. Normally in my day to day work I use the moerman excelerator as it is more advanced and versatile for my needs.
Thanks for watching
Kind regards
TM
is this route work you built up doing like a community for homes?
Good to see the old Unger back in action 💚
Hello trad girl Good to see a female in the window cleaning game 👍🏻
The maker T-bar saves a few minutes
You always have the right choice of tools for the Job
Any chance of a video on a first clean in the near future?👌
Keep up the good work guys 😉
Thanks for the kind comments 😀
Yeah hopefully get to record a first clean soon as sometimes it's not always ideal situation for filming 👍🏻
Brilliant video
Cheers chief 👌🏻
Will you be in Amsterdam next week??
Unfortunately no mate but you have fun
Okdokay, hopefully all being well I'll see you at Stoneleigh this year. Planning on venturing down on my motorbike 😅 so might be walking like John Wayne for the show 🤣
Another perfectly explained video !
Do you wear some special gloves or does it only look like that ?
Just disposable diy gloves
Hi young windowcleaner from slovakia here, This was the first video that got me into window cleaning, i got hooked right away, this is best quality content on youtube regarding windowcleaning,
i have a question why dont you wipe of the excess on the sides of frames or bottom frame ?
Also i have unger ninja squeege and i noticed you use unger ninja applicator using the swivel option, i noticed that on the ninja sgueege its very stiff, is it possible to use it as swivel on a pole when i loosen it ? I have bought 0 degree and S+ but i dont have the 30 swivel handle so i wondered if i can use this ninja sgueege as a swivel when its loosen, also why dont you use 18 inch instead of the 14 inch on the larger windows for pole swivel work?
Thank you for clarifying my questions and for teaching me how to be a better windowcleaner!
Cheers from Slovakia ❤
The Unger ninja isn't great for swivel pole work. The 0 and 30 degree swivel handle is designed for that though. The best pole tool currently is the moerman excelerator.
When in swivel, your squeegee starts to loose pressure at the ends, the bigger you go the more pressure is lost at the ends, I use the moerman excelerator and find a 14 inch is the biggest size you can go and still get perfect results swiveling on a pole.
When you cleaning the cobwebs what the attachment you use to hole the cloth in place , thanks Tradman💯👍
Maykeer handy sleeve
Lol, S+ most older window cleaners already bending the tips of a regular rail just like the all new game changing S+ rail 😀
Really good video. Thank you.
Is the moerman excelerator flight a better tool for this?
The excelerator is a more advanced tool and requires more practice/skill to use. It gives multiple angle options.
The Unger swivel with an splus channel is a more forgiving squeegee but doesn't offer the same versatility.
@@TradMan thank you. Just started traditional and looking at using a pole to reach harder windows (over conservatories) and sometimes instead of ladders.
Have watched your safety video for ladders and undertand how to use them safely. Wanting to get information on all the different ways of cleaning traditional.
@@jamesswallow4991 I will be starting online training very soon. If your interested ping me a message at info@tradmanacademy.com
😁
I have roofrop deck windows that also serve as the rooftop fence. I need a "push" squeegee to push down toward the lower floors rather than pull up. Any recommendations? Thank you
I’ve an s plus squeegee but I’m always detailing all 4 edges, where your joy and same technique. Have you done some modifying to the squeegee at all?
It's technique, on most windows I can get zero detailing with the splus, unless it has a flat laying seal which comes out and on to the glass then I would have some detailing. Try the dive bomb technique to and that will help depending on the window 😊
@@TradMan ok, I never notice seal or no seal but I shall take note on its next use.
@@doubleawindowcleaningphil5003 I will have a one to one training course available very soon if that would help. Stay tuned on my channel to find out more 😉
How do you get zero detailing with the Unger channel?
That channel is the Unger S plus. It greatly reduces detailing although if the window has a protruding rubber seal it will leave some solution behind, so depends on the window, if the rubber seal is tucked inside the frame you can normally get close to if not zero detailing 😁
Nice video. I have a question about the handle. Does it hold the rubber with the two teeth like the ergotec handle or do you have to use the green endclips?
The teeth of the clamp hold the rubber 👍🏻
@@TradMan thanx👍🏼
Do you not wipe the suds off the sills afterwards? At the bottom.
Yes 😊
What pole?
Do you prefer handy sleeve instead of a sponge on frames because you can use a pole?
Yeah exactly, the handy sleeve is very versatile. Able to reach most areas and with the swivel feature it is as the name suggests very handy! Great tool to have in the arsenal 😉
For first cleans, CCU's (or if its just really dirty) I wouldn't wipe the frames with just a damp cloth on the handy sleeve, I would get nose to glass (if safe to do) and use applicators, abrasive pads, cloths etc to give it a thorough clean.
What degree should you need if you do roughly 5 meters up
You'll need the 30° handle
@@TradMan and higher ?
Hey trad-man I've watched and learned a ton from your videos. (Thank you for that) I'm wondering about the water for traditional scrubber & squeegee technique. What's the best water to use....distilled, purified, tap, spring? I currently use spring and just tested the water hardiness to be 100 ppm.
Hello, thanks for your comment 😊
To answer your question I don't think it matters too much. The most important thing is using a detergent that gives a good balance between cleaning ability and glide for your squeegees.
The most popular is the use of dish washing soap. Some apply it to the bucket of water. Personally I apply the soap to the applicator as it gives really good glide.
Hope this helps 👍🏻
🤣....
Why.....Perrier Agwa Minerale down south and Butt W'ater oop Nurth!
S plus with unger clips help to reduce detailing and issues ( difficult to insert ettore clip with 'dog ear' ) ; standard channel S with ettore clips too...
A little soap helps get the clips in 😉
Great video mate, really helpful. Keep more like this coming 👍🏻.
Fantastic! Great to hear your feedback, thank you 😊
Where to buy, that attachment for cloth on pole.
The handy sleeve. I got it from DA components in the UK
What bright blue dish soap is that ? 🧐
Aldi magnum premium 😊
@@TradMan I thought that was green. This looked like moermans stuff 🤣
@@inked5145 😉👍🏻
Unger needs to come up with a single handle that can switch to 0, 30, 40 degree angles.
Внутренние окна не моете?
Yes on request
@@TradMan У нас в Киеве заказывают как правило с двух сторон.
Hi, from Russia
Hello 😊
Use a step stall
23 mins in the trad girl was def on the phone lol
It's a tutorial video, I'm waiting for the rest
Excellent
So we are just out here not detailing the top frame? That's gonna drip down after you leave
Зачем мыть и так чистые окна?!🤔🤔🤔
👎
👍🏻
Mit ein Trittleiter bist du dreimal so schnell und gründlicher
Sure thing 😉
What do you think of the highflyer compared to the Unger 0 degree?
Not a fan of wagtail. Poorly constructed. Much better options available.
