New Patch brought changes towards all enemies in the game even Eidolons. Here are some numbers for the shields, OLD: Teralyst 23759, Gantulyst 28586,Hydrolyst 33884 New:Teralyst 14362,Gantulyst 20262,Hydrolyst 26120. It makes it way easier to take down shields now in a solo run. probably the best run possible at this moment is between 8m30s to 8m40s.
@@ricardobattaglia1770 Just try to be closer, on gantulyst and hydrolyst i would suggest being close and shooting upwards helps a lot. Since their hitboxes are a bit higher than teralyst.
Enable dynamic resolution in options. Mine is set to 90% and in plains before I get between 10-25fps I now get 30-40fps. I am also using a reduced custom desktop resolution 852×480 and all settingson low. It's not going to look as pretty as before but man I love eidolon hunting now.

Can you make a video going more in depth on positioning, optmal movement, lure strats, why make this instead of that? Most of people can get quite good and do 3x3, but there's a barrier in details that no one talks about, just taking this run and talking on top of it pausing in everything relevant and why you to that, how far ahead you need to plan to take a lure, going through the decision making and etc. I want to get better at Volt, but I couldn't get past 4x5+ garry sometimes. There's a lot of optimization and unspoken rules that I don't know about, nobody has the patience and time to teach me and even watching and knowing what people are doing, I still don't know how. Like the spawn hitboxes, if there's a trick to proc virtuous shadow. I saw people doing, I and sometimes I try and don't know how if there's an obvious catch that Im not aware of. I grew a lot with a squad that I met and kept in touch, but bring the weak link of the chain and the reason why the aren't doing 6x3 anymore, with a member rotating sometimes and expecting more from me, made me just quit hunting since last year. I think that there's a lot to talk about in the optimization for solos, for squad roles, for covering some holes in pubs, but no one made a video about that yet, lots os videos explaning in general the basics of each roles, but no one talking about different strategies to handle the lures in each scenario, how to manage your void strike, how to lead the hunt, how to be led, how to get better without just mashing your head into the wall when you have no clan mate to help you or you are the pillar of the clan and need more knowloge to give to them. Adk, I think there's a lot to teach when you presume that you are talking with a person who queue to the bounty and toss a coin to get a team, they can learn a lot joining a pre-made team, but there's no reason for them to not learn before they got theirs 100 caps.
There are specific places where you can void dash depending on where the Garry or Harry spawns, im planning to make a guide on eidolon hunting soon, but i don't really have the motivation to, plus I normally do solos so I don't think it'll help many people

Is redeemer prime still viable after the fall off nerf from 27.3 ? 30m deals now 100dmg in the simulacrum, 30m is basically the distance between hydrolyst's upper synovias and the ground :(
@@ygcze7879 it's easier to shoot an eidlon limb with redeemer. yes they are accurate and simpler but the issue is that the way the Redeemer world it WILL do more DMG than a sniper. think about it, it can get more DMG and more critical with Melee mods as well. it make be clunky but being able to one shot the limbs without a rice is better than using snipers like Lanka Rubico as the have their issues. Lanka is charge and Rubico's mag and reload. since redeemer is a melee it has no reload and a quick fire by heavy. Hell, some people prefer paraciesis better than snipers. I used to use the paris. there are no best weapons for eidolons it's just good and better. in my opinion redeemer I just better due to its crit, dmg, speed, and ease of use. snipers have longer reload fire rate and need Rubens to be comparable to redeemer.

I mean I know it's like a pure min max technique but it almost looks like the way this is being carried out is an exploit more than a strategy, with that being said it brings to light how much of this game seems to revolve around "exploit tactics" just simply because this game is grindy as hell, and there's so many things to farm for that the only plausible way to get the most out of your time is doing shit like this but its so distasteful because tbh it doesn't look fun doing this but I know one day I will probably have to do shit like this to be stronger which makes me sad lol

Same. I'm on console so it's very difficult with eh fps and shit but I am TRYING to emulate this or at least make it so I can get 2 tridolons. I only can get 1 per night solo ATM which some say is good but like THIS just shows me I achieve nothing lol

I don't think it was a problem it dose help but the 4 sec to detonate is what make you slow for the most part . in large camp you lockdown a lure and go to lock down the 2nd one and go back to hack the 1st then the 2nd that way it is faster over all but more energy intensive
just roughly after 2:50 you shoot upwards to the left and right as operator and then the shields just drop, is this due to a bug with the eidolon's position and animation? Because I see a pretty clear delay after you shoot on each side and after you knock a part off it teleports onto the beach. Clever, but effective? I had no idea you could bypass that part at all tbh
When spawning the hitbox is stuck at place, in the shore, but the model is moving towards it, thats why you can "shoot the air" and get rid of shields during spawn

Hi, im currently crafting my first amp, would you say raplak is the best prism? I was going to put rahn on mine. Also I've been looking at the eidolon guide that jermo has linked on his twitch. It says to get the unairu stuff for void blast first, so i did. Should i switch to madurai, or does that need more setup like increased energy pool and stuff beforehand?
he used the secondary mode of his amp, launching sticky bomb, as soon as the eidolon pop, the blow up, taking down his shield. Look at the ammo of his amp a few second earlier.
I know this is an old video but do you have some tips on how to position and where to aim to hit hydro with propa ? I have no problem with teralist and gantu but I miss half the time with hydro.
Nowadays how does magus lockdown works on the eidolon? It can not longer do puncture damage to anything, doest it stop eidolong like it would do to any other enemy as well?
It still can stun Eidolons as long as you dash before they fully stand they wont move until the tether breaks, but you cant stop them after their shields go back up gotta stun em before still comes in really handy with the Gantulyst to stop his death rays for a couple seconds of free dmg. On a side note you can also use them to lock down Voms and make them hold still in order to kill them with blazing dash.
Is there an amp meta anymore, aside from the certus brace (xx7)? I've tried 127, 227, 217, 177, and a few others and they all seem to be either a) completely useless b) way underpowered compared to the pre-amp break update last summer. Used to love soloing eidolons but the amps have been so bad that I've had to use the catchmoon for vomvolysts, and all the dispo nerfs to rubico have made my solo Oberon runs an absolute slog... Like I was able to just barely solo tri-cap previously, now I usually can't even get through hydro 2x in a night. I've gotta be missing something that I'm not adapting to... My times are down like 40% over last year, yet I've only gotten better rivens and gear, and have a lot more skills/schools maxed out.

I understand that you use void strike to increase the amp damage, my question is what is the purpose in shooting the sheild (not hitting the eidolon) @ 0:34. The best i can do right now is 3x3 and I mainly use volt. (I usually take 5 to 6 shots with a x10 void strike.) Same. I'm on console so it's very difficult with eh fps and shit but I am TRYING to emulate this or at least make it so I can get 2 tridolons. I only can get 1 per night solo ATM which some say is good but like THIS just shows me I achieve nothing lol

hello, a bit of a stupid question but how do you make sure the lures don't get in your way while aiming? they keep inturapting me in solo farms
Just press hold this postion on lures,but be careful, lures need to be like 30 meters close to stay attached to eidolon.
@@matija01 yh, that's kinda the issue, i can't end his limbs fast enough for him to not move coz i'm doing mostly pretty casual runs, so then it becomes a chore to always manage the lures
Magus lockdown deals more dmg after de arcane changes as well. It helps with the lure hacking a little bit
I don't think it was a problem it dose help but the 4 sec to detonate is what make you slow for the most part .
in large camp you lockdown a lure and go to lock down the 2nd one and go back to hack the 1st then the 2nd that way it is faster over all but more energy intensive
Magus Lockdown damage hasn't changed. Enemy health and armor (including lures) have been nerfed. That's why it seems to do more damage.
it's all getting changed as Lockdown is loosing its damage completely in the next patch

just roughly after 2:50 you shoot upwards to the left and right as operator and then the shields just drop, is this due to a bug with the eidolon's position and animation? Because I see a pretty clear delay after you shoot on each side and after you knock a part off it teleports onto the beach. Clever, but effective? I had no idea you could bypass that part at all tbh

When spawning the hitbox is stuck at place, in the shore, but the model is moving towards it, thats why you can "shoot the air" and get rid of shields during spawn
Wasn't lockdown nerfed so that it can only CC and can't deal dmg anymore?

Lol I was looking for a riven but when someone ask me 1k pl I just turned off the ps4... 🤣🤣😭 I had just 200pl. I'll be doing a tridolon's hunt at 17mins for a looong time. (I use to play with random ppl who doesn't even know what to do sometimes).

the irony of this is that by the time you can have a set-up half this good you would have no reason to fight eidolons anyway!

Hi, im currently crafting my first amp, would you say raplak is the best prism? I was going to put rahn on mine. Also I've been looking at the eidolon guide that jermo has linked on his twitch. It says to get the unairu stuff for void blast first, so i did. Should i switch to madurai, or does that need more setup like increased energy pool and stuff beforehand?

What exactly is happening at 5:55 - 5:57? It looks like the Hydrolyst's shields go down without even being hit...
he used the secondary mode of his amp, launching sticky bomb, as soon as the eidolon pop, the blow up, taking down his shield. Look at the ammo of his amp a few second earlier.
He's shooting where the eidolon theoretically should be, because amp can't reach the eidolon in the water
Doing things this speed takes the fun out of the game tbh, respect though.
Why do you shoot in the air with your amp before hitting it? Does it trigger something?
The amp is like tht you shoot a ball of energy first then it explodes after 2 seconds

I know this is an old video but do you have some tips on how to position and where to aim to hit hydro with propa ? I have no problem with teralist and gantu but I miss half the time with hydro.
Nowadays how does magus lockdown works on the eidolon? It can not longer do puncture damage to anything, doest it stop eidolong like it would do to any other enemy as well?
Magus lockdown got nerfed, no more puncture damage and number of mines are less and no it doesn't work on eidolons
It still can stun Eidolons as long as you dash before they fully stand they wont move until the tether breaks, but you cant stop them after their shields go back up gotta stun em before still comes in really handy with the Gantulyst to stop his death rays for a couple seconds of free dmg. On a side note you can also use them to lock down Voms and make them hold still in order to kill them with blazing dash.
Is there an amp meta anymore, aside from the certus brace (xx7)? I've tried 127, 227, 217, 177, and a few others and they all seem to be either a) completely useless b) way underpowered compared to the pre-amp break update last summer. Used to love soloing eidolons but the amps have been so bad that I've had to use the catchmoon for vomvolysts, and all the dispo nerfs to rubico have made my solo Oberon runs an absolute slog... Like I was able to just barely solo tri-cap previously, now I usually can't even get through hydro 2x in a night. I've gotta be missing something that I'm not adapting to... My times are down like 40% over last year, yet I've only gotten better rivens and gear, and have a lot more skills/schools maxed out.

Gladiator might for sure, im using it and its basically the same amount of damage and crit

I understand that you use void strike to increase the amp damage, my question is what is the purpose in shooting the sheild (not hitting the eidolon) @ 0:34. The best i can do right now is 3x3 and I mainly use volt. (I usually take 5 to 6 shots with a x10 void strike.) If someone can help me understand the purpose of these mechanics it would be super helpful.
What is the point of using shock trooper?
The shock trooper is if you have your volt with good strength you can 1 shot anything
Also with 10x void strike use the secondary fire for 1 shot

you use all madurai focus skills or just the essentials like void strike and anything more?
You need Void Strike, Blazing Dash, %Dmg amplifiers and the Gaze Tree, no need to max some of the nodes tho

I have a question, how do you know the green colour rain is coming during hydrolyst last synovia. And you dash upward to make it rain on top of it. How do you know it ? Or it is just pure luck ?
How many pizzas are you spending per run? And why do you have energize when there are no energy pickups, or I just didn't notice.
