    Im leaving for India this summer and I got so many ideas from your video. Thank you !! Also 1 tip for ur mom as far as yeast is concerned. Im a baker and i buy 1 pound SAF yeast pouch. Bottle it tight and freeze it. The expiry date is eliminated once frozen and the yeast doesn't clump or change texture. Anytime yeast is called in a recipe just open the bottle, use a clean dry spoon and cover and place back in freezer. Im using my current pack of yeast since the last 1 year.

    This video shows how much you love your mom. Everything you bought is for Amma. The way you tell this is for Amma is so beautiful. The connection between both of you is very much adorable and all I can say that your mommy is soo blessed to get a daughter like you. God bless both of you. There is soo much love in this video.❤

    Something I've been taking to India for all my relatives for almost 30 years now is Shout stain remover (gel). It's the only thing that reliably gets rid of turmeric stains. I took it initially because I myself found it useful and thought they would too. Now it's the only thing that anyone requests. It's just the gel, not the wipes (which are useless).

      Wow, didn't know about that. Will add to my list as well. Thank you.

    Our staple involve dried fruits and chocolate chip from Costco- cranberries, blueberries eta. Mummy becomes a star baking muffins and cookies in her neighborhood. Grains- i prefer India even though the varieties and packaging is nothing to boast about- reason is non GMO. Also useful for older folks are probiotics. We get that from Costco as well- and of course the velcro and slide ziploc bags. Bacon bits from Costco is also a hit. Lastly, your videos are very natural and feels like nammude swantham..keep posting

    Nice video. We take oatmeal and yeast too. Other items are multivites for elderly, knee braces, salonpas, dates from costco, other medicines such as Tums, allergy ones, etc. my mom also likes water bottles from here - steel and glass ones. 😃

    • @WhatsUrHomeStoryMalayalam
      @WhatsUrHomeStoryMalayalam  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great to know that there are others like me. Yes multi vitamins are also a big demand item for us. Dates, not much as they rely on middle east relatives for that even though i personally like costco ones better.

    Great video as usual , Divya. Couple of things that my folks back home request on a regular basis are : Canned tuna, Peanut butter, Raisins/Prunes etc as the quality is way better here. When it comes to toileteries, single use shavers and multiple use paper kitchen towel ( the one that lasts longer) is a frequent ask. Also, Ziploc bags 😊

    • @WhatsUrHomeStoryMalayalam

    As you mentioned the paper towel is very quality here one. I tried getting from India even in lullu mall, no way. That’s a great demand there, my one bag will be always filled with paper towel and ziplock bags 😂.
    Same thing about yeast my parents love it from here.
    Almost all the stuff which you showed will be in my luggage 😂

I even buy yeast to vanilla to Splenda or truvia & sugar free chocolates & shoes from here. Hand bags, women tops..my mom love's shampoo n body washes from here.
