No joke. I’ve never felt more of an actual connection to this band. Any time I’ve seen them, the one time I met them, everything for the last two plus decades has made life better with Coheed.

Found these guys from a random cd pick at Walmart when ascension came out. One of the best choices of my life. I thought I was picking up a metalcore cd. I was hella confused when I heard the hollow for the first time, but here we are, still my favorite band by far 13 years later.

We’re just getting warmed up to some of their best work over the next few albums. They’re all channeling something really deep. Beyond pain and suffering. This is real, raw, feeling of a life worth living - and as a 40+ y/o fan it just makes me smile that they’re growing with us all.

Guys, I'm serious with this. Thank you for posting this. You guys have always been my favorite band. Seems lately, you always come out with a new video right when I need it. Your music has helped me get through a lot of hard times. My first album of yours was "Good Apollo: I'm Burning Star IV", which honestly, I get was a dark time for Claudio, but it was _because_ it was so angry that it helped me. That album, and really all of your music helps me feel seen.
I'm going through a rough period in my life. I don't know what I want to do anymore with my life, I'm stuck taking care of my aging parents, one of which has dementia, I'm emotionally tired, and most I get are people either telling me to "suck it up", "be happy you're getting paid as a caregiver" or "I wish I could do more". Your music comforts me, though, by reminding me that I'm not alone.
I don't know if you'll read this at all. If you do though, again, thank you Coheed and Cambria. Thank you for being a part of my story.

It’s like watching the guys be the mentors and supporters that they probably wish their younger selves had. A love letter to all of the hardships that brought them to where they are now. A thank you to all the people who supported them way back when.
I also can’t help but feel it’s also got some kind of meaning with the theme of the albums lore. Like themes of the future meeting the past and reconciling with who you are and who you’re meant to be.

    Hear me out.
Bad times aren’t pointless. Even if you COULD, take yourself back right now, and fix all your problems, you’d have new problems.
So it’s not about having an easy life without problems, it’s about, when times are bad, sitting with your friends on the stairs and enjoying one another’s company and finding good in the bad times.
That’s what this feels like to me anyway.
If I had gone back in time and helped me through school, to not suffer as much. I’d not have met my oldest friend who I love dearly. The bad times are always going to happen, surround yourself with good people, and good memories, and they’ll hurt a little less. And from experience? You’ll just laugh at them in time.
This is serious. To all you young bucks out there. If you’re struggling, just think how funny of a story it’ll be for your friends in years to come. I nearly died of pancreatitis and spent two years in hospital. I’ve cried laughing at the jokes my friends make about it.
The darkest night bring out the brightest stars.

Coheed was my first ever live show back in the SSTB era, when they were opening for The Used. I was 16, and it blew my mind. This video brought back all that nostalgia of those early Coheed years.
22 years later. Still one among the fence.

Coolest moment of my life, I was 12 years old in 2004. My parents dropped off my two older brothers to see Coheed and Cambria in Ohio and I was in the car because i was too young to go the show. As my parent backed out of the parking lot my Dad said, “hey isn’t that the guy from the video?” Sure enough Claudio was right outside the venue’s back door. He was approachable back then and very humble. Made him my hero as teenager

The band has been my lighthouse in the storm: for the past twenty years, I've been leaning on Coheed to help me through good times and bad. Nothing but love for you guys! Thank you, friends!

I remember hearing Coheed for the first time when I was 7 years old, SSTB had just come out and one of my older brothers was listening to Everything Evil and I loved it but immediately forgot about it. Years later when I was 14 another brother was playing the same song and I asked who the band was, then immediately got hooked when I looked at their other songs. They're my favorite band, and I'm so happy that at 30 I'm still listening to new, amazing songs by them 💙
