Agreed, its an excellent form of transportation, its very nice and for me its nostalgic, I remember in 2015 when it first opened up I rode it for the first time, I was only 8 at the time.
Love trains, glad private enterprise is taking a crack at it...but is anyone riding these trains ? I hope they (Sunrail) makes it ! I hope they can get the line up from Tampa to Orlando sooner than later.
Virgin Trains USA (formerly Brightline) is building and running the Orlando-Tampa-Miami service while Sunrail is the Orlando region commuter rail with its own expansions in the works. I know Sunrail hasn't had the best ridership, but if they ran trains more frequently, add weekend service, and expand to places like Disney it could do better.
I am compiling a video of commuter rail systems in the United States: I have not had a chance to film this system and was wondering if I could use 30 seconds of your footage? I would be more than happy to list your channel as credits under the description once I put out the video
@@NorthEasternMotionProductions nooo idea, probably their location, which is under the spoiler, has a factor, as the train might kick dust into the bells, which might foul it.
Crazy to look at europe and east asia, and compare them to the network in the most powerful country in the world. Look im not some car hater but don’t yall want even a little bit of rail?
Things are slowly changing in the US in regards to rail. High speed rail between LA and Las Vegas is under construction and many states are planning new Amtrak routes.
That's my local train, I feel like jumping out of my screen and getting on to it!

I just seen 4 people trying to beat the train that's how accidents happen and people get sent to the m e office
It would be nice to expand the service to Tampa.
Brightline will be doing that.
Hard to believe those were originally built as GP40 freight locomotives
AWESOME....THANK....
Thanks for watching.

Yes.
Nice catch man
Jon The Great Thanks.
Cool video! Wow those trains are short.
Yeah, ridership levels don't warrant using more than 3 cars max.
Neat, I was just recently down there in Orlando. Hope they can expand this system
I just went on one today-DECEMBER 19,2017
What horns does Sunrail use?
Big Boy Pasta I do not know.
A p5 and p3 guys
wow! Nice video!
Shota's Railfan Productions Thank you.
Jefferson Street and Washington Street
These Sunrail trains always seem so... EMPTY. I know they ain't the LIRR, but still...
Good vid, don’t know why but the design of those locomotives just bother me, anyone feel that it’s just aesthetically a failure?
They look funny because they are rebuilt from GP40WH-2's formerly used in service for MARC.
The cab car horns sound a hell lot like a s3j, so I'm guessing old cast p3?
Big Boy Pasta You could be right. I am not good at identifying horns.
They are a p3, just that all of them are so fouled. Some don’t even sound like a horn
Edit: and the MP32PH-Q locomotives have REALLY fouled P5s
@@tankman_tv9332 how on earth did they get that fouled?

Disk brakes should be more prominent on trains in general
I wonder if this commuter is even breaking even, given the lack of riders. In many cities commuters are giant money pits.
It is losing money: bit.ly/2TQ0nRo
Sand Lake Road Station
It makes getting to Orlando way easier, however it turned Lake Mary into a shit hole.
People at 3:30 What effing part of “Do not cross the tracks while crossing gates are lowered” didst thou notteth understandeth 😐
Buenos dias
Hola.
Where’s the horn?
I think its under the engine.
Sun rails horns are so weak sounding. You can barely hear them from a distance. Good grief!!!!
Why don't you make videos of school buses?
ECBuses 101 I have made one, but I am just less interested in them.
That’s a GO Train lol
Very similar to Go trains.

Are those really K5la's?
I am not sure.
Definitely not
Do
Wooee how much cocaine were they on when they designed those locos? Those are horrible
They are rebuilt GP40WH-2's from Marc called MP36PH-Q. They are not the best looking.
