This Crazy Life Just a quick tip for small, galley style kitchens: use mirrors to open up the space. Place it up high enough on the wall for it to catch the light and reflect it back into the space. I love how you organized her space. 💖

I love Pantry makeovers organizing, it makes it less frustrating when you going in to get an item you don't have to move a hundred other things to get to it LOL. I do have one double Pantry that I bought several years back from Big Lots managed to use that as a pantry, 4 box foods and canned foods, Storage for the rest of my pots and pans and small appliances. Thank you once again.
It’s so refreshing to see this type of video done on a normal house (not one that is a huge gorgeous house 3x bigger then mine!)

Exactly!! You can definitely make improvements to a space on a budget.
Looks great! Amazing how a few simple touches can transform a room. I like the oil bottles for holding dish soap. It never occurred to me that the oven drawer was intended as a warming drawer.

Thankfully now that we live closer than we ever have, our relationship has gotten closer! We’ve always been close, but lived so far away, so the closer distance has helped so much!! We have so much fun together.

I've always used it for storage but I love to bake so you can bet I'll be using it as a warming drawer from now on!
Let’s be clear about one thing. We want to see ALL of the decluttering videos ALL of the time!😁I literally watch the same ones over and over again. If you move a fork from one side of the cutlery drawer to the other - I WANT TO SEE IT. 😂Thank you for feeding my addiction to watching other people do things in their home while I image what that would be like! 😆😆

Seriously, i can not express in words the life saving effects your videos have given to me.
All my children are grown and on their own now and i am a 60 year old "Gra'ma". It was the hardest milestone to watch my kids leave out on their own, and i miss them like "crazy". Though I am married, there is nothing that can take up the empty space of those kids. My husbands work keeps him away from the home much of the time, so I am alone all day long; depression was a daily fight ( i refused medication).
A month ago i came across these videos for motivation to clean my home. with in the first 10 minutes of one of your videos i was up and cleaning my house with more incentive than i have ever had. It feels like i have purpose now, even if it is simply for myself and MY "Peace" and feeling of accomplishment.

Perfect timing! I’m just about to move out of my home (of over 25 years) to an apartment. I have big dreams for the space- and a kitchen full of 20+ years of accumulated and now retired chef goodies. nope never knew of the warming drawer. lol I use as storage too. I'm looking forward to the bathroom makeover, this was such a motivational video.
Our oven drawer is just for storage. The warming drawer isn't an option on all ovens. However, if mine was a warming drawer I would still use it for storage. It's to valuable in a small space.
Allison all this time I thought that's what it was for! I didn't even know it was a warming drawer!

@@fanessfirstplace70 that's only if your oven has a broiler at the bottom. Not all ovens have that feature.

Faness Came up very often the broiler is in the top of the oven.

I knew it was a warming drawer, but I didn't find that out until adulthood. Lol. I think in our old stove it was a broiler drawer, but I still used it as storage.
I think watching the pantry organization next would be great to stick with the kitchen theme.

The kitchen makeover turned out so cute! Love it. I have always used the drawer under the oven for storage.
I have used the bottom drawer of my oven as a warming tray. My old oven actually had a temp setting for it. It was great to keep dishes I had gotten hot so I could use my oven to heat other items. Super helpful when you are feeding over 20 for Thanksgiving!

When I was growing up my mother & other older family members always used that oven drawer for storage. I wouldn't use it as a warmer cuz to me its too close to the floor & even tho my floor is clean that's just gross to me. Great job on the makeover.

Nice transformation. What makes that kitchen so busy are those mixture of brown and white cabinets. Oh I hate that. But there’s little to what you can do in a rented apartment.

Pantry makeover next please. I really need inspiration to do mine. :: My Mum's stove is extra wide. It has a warming drawer and a narrow warming cupboard with rack shelving on the left of the oven. Both are used for storage, but have been used as warming areas when hosting parties. Very handy.

great video and great job. It is interesting to see how much we really don't need that we keep in our kitchens. It looks great and your sister is lucky to have you. I want a sister like you! I'd love to see the pantry and your decluttering. I have so much stuff-my husband won't use my things, like hand can-opener, vegetable peeler so we have doubles of everything. Makes decluttering really hard. We will be downsizing soon so maybe some of the stuff will get "lost". Thanks for keeping our spirits up during this really hard time.

Hi. I knew the bottom of the oven it was a warmer because my grandmother used to use hers. She'd bake stuff in the oven; then the last 5-10 minutes of cooking she'd put usually cornbread or biscuits, in the bottom warmer to brown... I use mine as storage drawer.
