Hmmm, No. I've had subscribers dm with this issue and they had different CPUs so AMD is not the issue here. But they all had very old outdated GPUs which don't support Vulkan, including my old laptop with a Intel cpu. Or in rare cases, you just don't have the proper drivers.
@@Nightro-Fx well idk cuz I gave my rx 580 to my dad and the only amd gpu I have now is hd 8570 Idk how new your laptop has to be, but my i3 6100u laptop supported vulkan from the getgo, I guess, because I didnt need to do anything to get sober working I havent tested nvidia yet where it default to opengl only or opengl & vulkan
@@aksGJOANUIFIFJiufjJU21 My laptop is 2 years old, brought brand new. Same for me, mine launched without issues. Sober launches from Vulkan by default not OpenGL. As I said earlier, only in rare cases you need to download specific drivers to get Vulkan running for a CPU that supports it.
