The fact that a mod this extensive even exists for the game is incredible, let alone that it exists solely as a testament to the fucking insane story behind Freedom Planet's creation. Bad bitch loved someone else's Sonic OCs so much she made a Sonic fangame out of them that looked like THIS- yet here we are.
This is so cool!! However, there are a few inaccuracies that I should at least list off: 1. The pushing animation should not have Dawn's voice in the animation so, it should be removed 2. There's a pause screen bug where if you try to un-pause it just stays there so it should be fixed 3. The minor boss theme still wasn't fully heard in the pre alpha so instead try to recreate the song as best as you can 4. Lilac should not use the full near final victory animation so replace and remove some of the frames of the animation with the one from the archived footage in better quality by SleepyHex 5. Lilac's standard attack shouldn't have any voice clips because in said footage, she doesn't have any when using the attack moves only the rising slash should have the voice clip. Same goes for the hurt voice clips. There aren't any voice clips either. and 6. HedgeLac can't swim in the Pre-Alpha so, the feature should be removed as well. So, there should be a Version 2 of the replica as it's not fully accurate but, this is still a very near accurate replica. :) NOTE: Devy had sadly lost the original decompiled file for Freedom Planet's 1.0 build so unfortunately it cannot be updated.
This person could have possibly decompress the the source file and opened it up in clickteam fusion its game engine and replace the assets/music/soundeffect and recompress it back into a exe file.
@@luigifan2438 Ah I see yeah knowledge on decompression of clickteam fusion games is mostly kept secret as far I remember even this one guy told not to share this knowlege to the public after teaching me how to do it and yet I only learn it to extract sprites but that was years ago
Okay why is Hedgehog Lilac so friggin cute though-
I like how her regular running animation still looked better than her sprinting one back then, lol

@@FukuritaMariko Sadly, Devy had lost the decomp so it can no longer be updated. :'(
@@luigifan2438 oh so this person was given a decompress file of the game not done by himself?
Yeah, I think Devy was given a decompressed version of the game.@@FukuritaMariko
