Just ordered this and excited to give this a go. Coming from Five Parsecs, I have a bit of sci-fi and modern terrain and minis that would work for this.

I played this with a friend, but I played as like a NATO infiltrator team by NATO I mean American Special Forces group, just fucking around in the zone, stealing shit and shooting at the Russians in like the height of the Cold War, was pretty fun, especially when his ALFA group and my guys started an awesome rivalry.
Kinda want to do this with LEGO dudes with Brickarms guns and gear
I was thinking along the same lines but with the Mega Construx Call of Duty figures.

Some interesting skirmish rules! It's a shame that Warlord stopped production on Project Z, looks like those minis would have worked really well.
ProjectZ is actually a really cool, light and fast game. Lots of fun I did

Thanks for showing this one. My book is coming Tuesday-ish. But I wish it was more "Let's Play" and less BatRep. No going over stats, no direct discussion of dice rolls (over/under, TN, if crits or fumbles have any real effect), no details about actions (# you get, what you can do). Has a good detailed intro (setting and it's thematic sources), but then just plays without much explaining - yes, there's some explaining, and some can be "figured out" by watching, but definitely not up to your usual Let's Play standards... 🤷🏼♂️
I’ve been looking for a nice, ruined asphalt map like that. Where did you happen to buy it? Game looks pretty fun and dead simple to play.

The game sounds really neat, but it had that "Rangers of Shadow Deep" feel where it's just too easy.
Is there some progression to the missions where you are rolling on harder charts and such?
Yep. There are different levels of intensity based on how close you venture to the centre of the zone.
The presentation of the book was very uninspiring, but the game itself looks pretty nice. Really would love to field my Ariadna models with this game. :)
That’s the Osprey blue book series for ya. They keep it super simple to keep the price down.
It’s how Gaslands started out and that recently got a swanky hardcover redo.

i like it, wish it was more survivial-y and less just skirmishing, more like the game i guess i hoped it'd be, doing jobs, looting stuff in general, going back to traders and improving your equipment or finding more jobs to do, going out to just search anomaly fields or to just hope to find enemies, maybe i want it to be more random instead of knowing theres another player who's going to want to fight me
