I am re reading Harry Potter now and I just finished 5th book. Starting 6th book tonight. After that rewatching all 8 movies Best way to entertain myself during quarantine.
CubeJedi The Truth About Voldemort The Truth Of Why Tom went Evil How Thomas Marvolo Riddle III becomes Lord Voldemort and becoming A Supervillain The Greatest Dark Wizard In All Of Fiction.
I felt this book belonged to the three most important Slyetherins in the entire HP storyline: Draco, Snape and Lord Voldemort himself. I loved the parts where Harry and Dumbledore spent understanding Lord Voldemort. We also see how the outcome of the inevitable Harry vs Voldemort battle starts tilting towards Harry in this book. Book 5 end was so tragic because Voldemort precisely understood how Harry would react, and here, Harry and Dumbledore are attempting to use the same tactic to great effect.
Also this is the book where Harry truly hated snape. In the previous books, he hated snape because he took off unnecessary points from gryffindor or gave detentions. But in this book, Harry finds out snape was the one who revealed the prophecy to Voldemort and was, in some way, responsible for James and Lily's deaths. And in the end Snape kills Dumbledore and Harry's hatred reached its breaking point. The portrayal of these events is phenomenal in this book.
Also after all the political drama in the previous book along with Harry's emotional instability because of voldy's surveillance this book is very calming to read, well until they return from the cave.
Yeah, I just finished rereading the book (what coincidence) and I found that with this one, she did everything well that went wrong with OOTP which was one single mess. To me, the two books are kind of similar, only that HBP is done better when it comes to writing and linear structure.
Harry Potter Movies: Harry Potter and the confused face Harry Potter when puberty kicks in Harry Potter and when things get Sirius Harry Potter and the hunt for a barber Harry Potter and the Bad teacher Harry Potter and relationship drama Harry Potter camping Harry Potter dies. Sike!
The HBP book hits different because Harry pays more attention to what’s going on around him as a normal teenage boy does, like Ron and Hermiones relationship and how he feels about Ginny and his jealousy towards Dean. It feels more real and relatable whereas in other books he’s constantly worried about being murdered or about other larger sinister things which aren’t relatable. We feel closer to Harry in this book. It’s PERFECT
Best thing about the book hands down is the amount of mystery and suspense. trying to figure out what Draco is up to, whether Snape is good or evil, who the HBP is, what Slughorn is hiding, Tom riddles past and more. It literally has you thinking all the time and you just can't wait to find out even though we all know how it turns out. Did I forget anything?
Another interesting parallel between Harry and Draco in this book is that Draco was also a "Chosen One" because Voldemort chose him to murder Dumbledore. That makes Draco the Chosen One for the Dark side as opposed to Harry being the Chosen One for the good side.
Yeah and I think Draco relished the chance to be a 'chosen one' because he has always been jealous of Harry's fame. But he was only ever just a bully, not a truly cruel person and falters in his attempts and in his commitment to the dark side. I think Draco lowering his wand is his redemption moment. Some people wanted a real fight between harry and draco at malfoy manner but they already had it in HBP with the sectumsempra curse. Once it got too 'real' between them, they didn't actually want to hurt each other.
Omg we get so much bill and fleur content in this book (a ship loved by almost everyone in the fandom) whereas in the movies they just turn up like HeY hArRy ReMeMbEr Us? YeAh We'Re EnGaGeD!
same with percy in deathly hallows there’s a whole 5-10 pages of why he came back and him being with his family where as in the movie “HEy iM hERe noW”
Big E Baseball order of the Phoenix (movie) doesn’t even make mention of how Percy betrayed his family and sided with the Ministry. He’s just there with fudge to help capture Dumbledore 😒👌🏻
Same with Lupin and tonks they don’t even touch on it. Tonks just calls him ‘sweetheart’ and in Deathly Hallows they just rock up like HEY WE’RE MARRIED AND ALSO THERES A KID NOW. A real shame actually bc out of all the couples Bill and Fleur and Lupin and Tonks are the best written couples in the fandom and they’re the only couples the RomCom of a HPB movie doesn’t touch on
yeah the movie really screwed them over. I loved how in the book Fleur said she still loves Bill even though his face is unrecognizable and this is a big development for her as she isn't just a shallow diva anymore and she and Molly make up
Yes, i also loved Harrys struggles towards his feelings for Ginny and to worry about what Ron thinks. This Battle inside of him showed even more how important Ron was to him and i loved it since i adore their book-friendship! One of the reasons i ship hinny so much, because this couple is connected with Harrys and Rons friendship.
I agree 100% I always get so irritated when people say that there is so chemistry between Harry and Ginny, Harry was madly in love with him all the time but Hermione just gave her advice so that maybe he would be more interested in her He fell in love with who she is as ń person and became to realise how beautiful she actually is And what I absolutely loved is exactly what you said, the way he would always be worried about what would Ron think and what would happen to their friendship He also at one point just wanted to get alone with her to ask her out but Ron NEVER let them be alone together 😂😂
@@MiaDailyDiaryPeople who say they have no chemistry are people who have only watched the movies. They’re right that there’s no chemistry there in the movies. HBP is the worst movie, hoenestly, it’s a complete joke of the story it’s based off of. Book Ginny and Harry are the best couple in the series imo.
I think The Half-Blood Prince is a book about the Slytherins and how different they were from each other. Draco, Snape, Tom Riddle and Professor Slughorn, the book delves into the characteristics and mind-sets of these four characters majorly and has done a tremendous job in’s highlighting the many shades of the Slytherins and bringing across Sirius’ point that the world is not divided into good guys and Death Eaters! I really like this book. I think it gave a depth to the entire series in a way no other part had given before. The story of Tom Riddle and his brilliant psychoanalysis by Dumbledore just blew my mind as a kid when I first read the book. Brilliant video as always!
Honestly I know nobody asked, but I never even liked them in the books, they always had a friendship vibe to me (even tho Ginny had a crush on him before). Don't get me wrong, it makes sense for Harry to end up with her, but I still wish they got more pining as a couple. :D
@@Miao559 Forget about Ginny being the best girl for Harry, Harry isn't a good fit for Luna herself! Harry wants to settle down and build a family, whereas Luna wants to travel the world exploring new places and finding interesting creatures. Not to mention, and this is something that you don't see in the movies, Harry is often VERY dismissive of Luna's personality, appearance, and beliefs in his internal narrative. So while they are great friends, there are clear incompatibilities that would come to the fore in a romantic relationship.
Yes, Harry was less vocal and fervent about it than Hermione, that's a given. But if we're talking in the context of a potential romantic relationship one can say that he is dismissive of her overall belief system. Harry is, obviously, a lot more down-to-earth than Luna. As I said, it's different if you look at it through a friendship lens; there is more space for disagreements on these issues. Just look at Ron and Hermione: her SPEW is an essential part of who she is, and her disagreement about it with Ron is one of the reasons why I am no longer as sure about their compatibility as a couple. Although, for what it's worth, in terms of the Sextet, if Ginny is ruled out, I definitely prefer Harry/Luna to Harry/Hermione. From the very first book it is established that Harry's greatest desire is to be part of a family. So I don't think you can understate Harry's love for the Weasley family, with one of its obvious components being how many people there are. He loves the chaos of the Burrow; it's why he comes back pretty much every summer (and Christmas during HBP). You cannot confuse Harry's chaotic life in terms of dealing with threats around him, and the 'chaos' of raising a family. Harry seeks normality, raising a family is a 'normal' kind of chaos. I've seen this brought up a few times and really, I've never understood it. Yes, Ginny is stated to be 'attractive' in the common 'Hogwartsian' consciousness. So what? Cho, Cedric, and Fleur are described in the same ways. Besides, it's mentioned like what, three times, in the entire HBP book. I haven't read the books in some time, I know there's the Slytherin conversation, which is the most cited one. There's obviously much more in that book (and others) about how Harry himself views her, both physically and personality-wise.
This video just makes me realise just how much I love this book. It's my favourite of the series and it was mainly because of the exploration of Voldemort's past but I now have more reasons for that now, thanks Morgan.
Even though deathly hallows is my favourite Harry Potter book, I can see why half-blood prince is your favourite book, because it's really exciting, the flashbacks are brilliant, Draco Malfoy is not really bad and Ginny and Harry are my favourite couple, too. I think both are strong, passionate, hate bullying and fight for Luna and Neville. They're just great.
During the last films and books Draco becomes an anti-hero being conflicted to which path he should take and where he questions himself on who he really wants to be in which side his heart really lays upon 👍
I finally found someone else whose favourite book is the last one! It's kinda been weird to me because even though the last books/ movies in a franchise are always really sad, they've always been my favourite. I feel they give closure on so many things and that everything feels complete and I love that.
I love the fact that the final book is for Dumbledore. The mastermind. The genius. The guy who protected Harry from the start. And we didn't know of his past until the final book. It all ends with him..
during my childhood, i imagined dumbledore as the master mind and the one who knew everything . but now as i analyze him, he is just a guy who makes mistakes and he is a guy who wont share any personal information to anyone . i mean dont get me wrong , he is indeed a master mind and clever, but he is too introverted and like said by percy in the 1st book , he is a very weird guy .
@@Unlucky_fool_1409 You never watched "Dumbledore's Big Plan" from SuperCarlinBrothhers here on TH-cam? It is probably the most plausible fan theory out there and even explaining a lot of plot-conveniences that are otherwise be hard to believe by just being "luck" or "fate".
This was the first book to actually make me cry. After Dumbledore died, I was filled whit such a big sensation of "dude, what is Harry gonna do now?????"
I wish Ginny was as bold in the movie just like the Ginny in the book ( seriously, shoelaces). Also, it also it annoys me so much how Harry and Ginny kissed in the Room Of Requirement instead of the common room.
@@someonefromearth5231 Well, he did KINDA use him but that does NOT mean that he didn’t care about him or love him! I really love Dumbledore and Harry’s relationship!❤️
@@cinnagrits yeah i don't deny that. But what else was he supposed to do? Harry sacrificing himself was the only way to kill voldemort and save like an entire generation of people so..
Completely agree. Goblet of Fire is second worst, but didn't have an extra scene nearly as bad as the weasleys house being burnt. So HPB will always be worse than GoF for me
It almost seems like the movie was purposely sabotaged. The fact that they didn't even put Dumbledore's funeral in it at all, when it would have been the perfect ending, instead of ending it the way they did every other movie where they are just standing there, reflecting on what happened. I mean the Love Story was bad enough, but I personally feel like they took a disease-ridden shit all over us by not even bothering with it.
Yeah, the movie adaptation disappointed me so much. This in fact was the darkest movie out of the lot imo and they dropped the ball on it . Loved the cave scene tho
The movie adaptation wasn’t horrible but it did not do the book justice at all. Michael Gambon and Tom Felton were excellent though and the last 45 minutes were perfect.
@@joeyjerry1586 I agree that the last part was incredible. In addition to the actors you mentioned, I also think Alan Rickman did an amazing job acting as Snape in this movie!
Why MovieFlame is a great channel: The guy who speaks doesn’t have a boring voice. The channel is interesting itself. It makes it easy for me to understand the movies and books 📚 Thank you 😊
“Then why,” asked Snape, “does it have the name ‘Roonil Wazlib’ written inside the front cover?” Harry’s heart missed a beat. “That’s my nickname,” he said. This part in the book had me on the floor 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀
I like how the themes in each book are somewhat mirrored across the series. I would say the fourth book stands alone in focusing on the return of Voldemort to power, and the dire consequences of his return. Books 3 and 5 are heavily focused on Sirius and Harry, as well as their relationships to the other Marauders. Books 2 and 6 are heavily focused on the identity of Voldemort as Tom Riddle, as well as the Harry-Ginny relationship. And Books 1 and 7 are heavily focused on the Harry as the Boy Who Lived, as well as on Lily Potter, both in her protective love for Harry, and Snape’s love for her.
It’s my favourite... also not to hate your opinion, but if you hate hbp but like ootf, then u have something wrong, not trying to be rude just expressing my opinion.
@@gdtacos7082 I don't hate any Harry Potter I just wrote that she always says that hbp is the best. My favorite is prisoner of Azkaban. PS. I am reading hbp rn
I have to say Half-Blood Prince is my favorite as well, because after the Philosophers Stone, I always knew Snape was the misunderstood hero, but when he killed Dumbledore, I got a little surprised, and I was shocked, through reading the Deathly Hallows, When Voldemort killed Snape, and Harry rushed to try to save him and got the memory tears, and after reading “The Princes Tale” I just lost it when Severus casted his Patronus, I was sobbing and laughing, and still to this day Severus Snape is my favorite character, Always :)
Jamesy Wamesy I always support Snape, I didn’t get surprised when Snape killed Dumbledore because I understand, no good teachers would let their student to became a murderer when they knew.
Snape is hands down the best Harry Potter series character of all. We are constantly shifting our thoughts about him - in the first book we hated him then at the end we loved him, that same pattern went on throughout the series. I found myself wanting to punch Snape at times but also hug him far before the final book. The fact that he is so closed off, probably as a result of being bullied as a child and never actually pursuing the woman he loved most, makes him look emotionless. He gives off a psychopathic vibe in the sense where it seems as though he is monotone (based on his voice, actions, expressions, etc.). We never really see his true self until the last book where his character arch takes OFF. We look back and notice small things he's done and understand why he did them. The fact that he was able to love Lily for his entire life, and with that, care for Harry even though Harry really never respected him, and he hated James Potter, he still cared for Harry and couldn't hurt him simply because of his love for his mom. We see that he's deep down, a hearty and loving man (and he was the whole entire time), yet the only time he really shows emotion is in his memory, the conversation between him and Dumbledore, where he breaks down and actually exposes his true self. I love that man so much. I was sobbing the whole time during his memory sequence. At the end of the sixth book, I thought, this is my final straw. I hate Snape. He is the worst, he betrayed everyone, I literally felt personally betrayed by him and I'm not in Harry Potter. I thought that there was LITERALLY no possible way JK Rowling could salvage his character after that, that the ups and downs were over and he is just a bad person. Then, when he's about to be killed by Voldemort, I found myself feeling sorry for him and tearing up unknowingly, I was like "why am I crying its *Snape*", but then after reading his memories I completely broke down. I love him so much. Best character.
I still didn't like him tho. I can't brush off his bad actions just coz of some sad backstory - it's so cliche, done so many times. Meaning well doesn't always come across through ones actions right. So I can't really see how he supposedly "cared" for Harry all this time while simultaneously treating him and people he cares for like shit. (preventing him from dying isn't the only way to show u care. What if he lived, but his future is ruined because of you? But it's oke since he didn't die - which also contrasts the point of "There's things much worse than death" theme they're going about.) Don't even get me started on how shit of a teacher he is. However, this is only my opinion and anyone can think otherwise.
Yeah he’s a great character, I wouldn’t say I’m a HP fan but his storyline really grabbed me. There are parts where he comes off as a bit of a cartoon villain but he also feels like a real, deeply flawed person who changes for the better. The way everything came together in The Prince’s Tale was beautiful.
In the end I still didn’t like him bc of how he treated the students at hogwarts and bc of other things he did, but I do think he’s a very well written character
Harry and ginnys relationship was a little awkward in the movie but in the book you can tell it gains and leads from the connection of the chamber of secrets which only they were present in
I love the book, but my greatest gripe was Hermionie. The fact she was so adamant to shut down and denies Harry's arguments and reasonings to how Draco was up to something irritated me. Yeah yeah, it's hard to believe a 16 year old would be an *actual* Death Eater, it would be farcetched, but the fact she was like "Nah, i don't believe it." when Harry explained Malfoy and Snapes private conversation about the Unbreakable Vow... Like, come on, Hermionie, you're smarter than this!
She was described by Luna’s father as intelligent but limited. She is limited to what she learns from books. If it’s not in the book, she won’t believe it.
Indeed, Hermione IS smarter than that. But for that book she was dumbed down, so JKR could ram the Hinny ship down our throats, because she kept clinging to the plot as she first invented it, while in the previous two books Harry and Hermione were becoming way too close (book 4 ending with Hermione kissing Harry for the first time, and in book 5 Harry completely broke down by the thought of Dolohov having killed Hermione).
One little detail in the books that I love and that adds to this book so much is that Snape is the only character who never asks the students to open a textbook (except when he teaches DAtDA in book 3). For every other subject, the teachers always ask the students to open their textbooks, but Snape always puts the potions instructions on a blackboard. As if to show how little Snape trusts the potions instructions in those books. It's just one of those little hints that you'd never notice unless you re read the books, but it really goes to show how much forethought was put into the books
Good point about Snape. Apparently, the professor who distrusts coursebooks most is Professor Binns. Students don't even have books, they only take notes during his lectures. I'm surprised his lectures are not sold by some students who left school. Also I found how long the professor was teaching: "Already deceased by the late 19th century, Professor Binns was boring students post-mortem already in the 1890s."
damn , i just realized it after reading your comment . also during the DADA class , he told to open the books because he wanted the students to find that lupin is a werewolf .
I can understand why Harry and Cho's relationship was awkward and undeveloped. He had a crush on her for her beauty and nice personality, whilst not knowing so much about her. And I think that Cho was never truly interested in Harry, but something drove her to pursue a relationship because he was the Harry Potter or she just needed someone to get over Cederic. Nonetheless, they just weren't a good pair since they had little in common and had spent very little time together. Harry with Ginny on the other hand have known each other since his 1st year at Hogwats and their relationship definitely matures better than his and Cho's. Ginny always had that admiration and liking for Harry, getting even deeper after he saved her in the chamber of secrets. And they generally had way more natural process into becoming a couple since they had more in common and had more chances to be together, making them both comfortable around each other. Rowling may have wanted to interpret this very gradual character development into the books to show that Ginny and Harry made a better couple all along. That's why I believe that the author did a pretty good job with those 2 relationships to argue against your opinions. P.S. If I could write so much on my english or history essays in school, I would probably be the best student in my year
Since the first book I always trusted Snape, I don’t know why I just felt like he’s very important and a good man. After this book I started questioning my opinion but i still trusted him
Grape2D tbh goblet of fire is a good movie if you haven’t read the book. But if you compare the two it’s trash. I mean goblet and half-blood prince are my favorite books, and the movies always look extra bad in comparison.
The relationship between Harry and Dumbledore is my favorite part of the book. The plot twists, the scene when harry get to know about Snape hearing the prophecy through Sybil Trelawney, everything was so much fascinating about this book
i’m gonna be honest, the 5th book, order of the phoenix is my personal favorite. i feel like the DA brings more of the other characters out, as it’s not just based on harry, hermione and ron. i know the whole idea is for harry, ron, and hermione, but it brings more of the other characters’ personalities.
Harry’s relationship with Cho was just a first crush scenario. The 6th book was about the time right before you come of age. They are actively working for their future and not just planning for it. This is why his relationship with Ginny works out so well. She was his actual girlfriend. They had time behind the scenes and that’s a huge difference from his time with Cho. Ron’s story arc in this book is underrated. I loved his whole storyline and his relationship with Lavender. She did it so well. After watching this whole video I can say I’m proud of you man. For the first on any Harry Potter TH-cam page I can say you really know your stuff. I don’t agree with everything but this was a very well thought out video.
Movieflame definently is one of the BEST youtubers at least my favorite he's so good at making videos. He explains everything so well and this book is my favorite as well but Morgan Ross just made me like it more
I just love every chapter in which Harry and Dumbledore have long conversations and go on different missions in regards to the horcruxes. The previous book purposely divided them so it was amazing to read those chapters.
While I do love the backstory on tom, dumbledores death, and how perfectly written this book is my favorite is still 7. All of my favorite scenes like harry talking to dumbledores portrait at the end, snapes memories, dursleys departure, dumbledore and grindelwalds back story, etc are in 7.
I agree. The first time through, I hated all the Dumbledore stuff because I wanted to get to all the action. But in my numerous rereads, Dumbledore's backstory has become the highlight of the whole series because of how it relates to Harry's thematic arc.
Clout God i 100% agree with you. my favorite moments especially were the chapters focused on snape, meaning his death and then his memories. and i’m going to admit that i actually cried when snape died the second time i read the book after knowing about his past.
I have a special fondness in my heart for this particular HP book. I read it while recovering from a surgery at my mom's house. This was in 2013, I came late to the books but had been watching the movies. I was an adult and had been living on my own for quite some time, but needed some help and observation after the surgery. So I spent the week at my parent's house reading this book and being looked after by my family. The pain and recovery from the surgery sucked, but reading this wonderful book while being looked after by my family was nice.
These videos are so detailed and the amount of time and effort you put into these videos is amazing. You work so hard to entertain us and to fill your passion. Keep up the awesome work.
reading the Half Blood Prince book when I learned that Snape was someone’s double agent and was managing to have both Dumbledore’s and Voldemort’s trust I’ve always had a strong feeling he was on the good side, cause if he was deceiving someone it had to be Voldemort and not Dumbledore, unlike many people think I always thought Voldemort wasn’t that smart, his arrogance and self entitlement blinded him a lot, specially to those things he couldn’t understand or that he despised
You are the best TH-camr. I mean you work super hard on your videos, you read the books and watch the movies. I’m really supersized how well you comprehend what you read and watch. I really like your theories too. Keep up the good work
I finished the Half-blood Prince just an hour ago (for the first time) and it became my favourite, miles far away from the others... I just love the way you explain everything by presenting the facts... Huge support!
I absolutely agree. I love this book too much. What a perfect mix. Great storytelling, character development, superb backstory on Voldemort, awesome mystery about HBP, good romance storylines, awesome sense of humor and Harry speech to Slughorn is so epic to convince him to give the memory.
I'm one of the few people that really like Harry and Ginny together. During my first reread after the series was complete I picked up on so many small details hinting to Harry liking Ginny and their chemistry but it's easy to dismiss when you don't know.
So true people argue that Harry is good with Cho more chemistry and all....I doubt whether it's just me who sees how great both of their relationship and story is....she never gave up on her
I don't think the number is few. I think the majority of book fans love them together. Those who've only ever watched the movies are, of course, confused by them because the movies did a terrible job of fleshing out their relationship.
Can you tell me some examples of these signs? I honestly really want to know what I’ve not picked on. I’ve read the books SO many times but I honestly still do feel like their relationship comes out of nowhere a bit really.
Morgan I loved how you emphasized that the Harry Potter series is in some ways a mystery series. There are so many mysteries. I think of Chamber of Secrets and the mystery about the monster and who was letting it petrify people was my favorite growing up reading the books.
I loved the Half Blood Prince book so much, that watching the movie was a complete dissapointment, it still is. So much was cut off, left behind or forgotten, the book is just brilliant!
One of the most badass lines Harry said in the book, to Narcissa, was exactly what the Malfoys deserved. "(pointing out that Dumbledore wasn't around) wow, look at that he's not here! So why not have a go! Maybe they'll have a double cell for you and your loser of a husband!"
@Mister Galaga given that Draco started it by (predictably) indulging in his family's bigoted beliefs, calling Hermione a Mudblood. Then Narcissa in turn threatened Harry if he attacked Draco again. This was where Harry's response came in. He was calling her bluff
Too many great moments: - Voldemorts backstory - Ginny and Harrys kiss - Draco and Harrys duel - The entire cave scene including dat fire spell. - "I'm not worried Harry, I'm with you" - "Harry will handle it" "Accio Rosmertas brooms" (I dunno I really like that part) - The entire scene up until Dumbledore dies - Harry and Snape duel and revelation - The funeral
Half board prince is my favourite too... It has all... flashback of Voldemort's past, Harry and dumbledore's relationship, Romance, Suspence, Characters' transition, And ultimately a brilliant ending that leaves us with pain, hope and thrill... Loved it
2:25 Maybe also Tom Riddle. There was lots about his past since it was the focus of the book. The rest of the book was focused mainly on Draco sneaking around and the book of the half blood prince.
Half blood Prince is my second favourite after Deathly Hallows, but it's very close and at times I say half blood Prince is better. Both are great. Do one one deathly Hallows next
I honestly don’t know how you keep coming up with new Harry Potter content to make videos about. Just when I think you’ve covered everything you post another hp video. Incredible
Ginny is my favourite character, and for a while I had HBP as fave in quite a big part due to her character, but now I feel that OotP does a really good job in developing her character.

Harry Potter in a nutshell 😂😂😂
@@oofcookiedough2244 Basically.
What does hbp mean
Never mind
@@Zarifan563half blood prince
Best thing about the book hands down is the amount of mystery and suspense. trying to figure out what Draco is up to, whether Snape is good or evil, who the HBP is, what Slughorn is hiding, Tom riddles past and more. It literally has you thinking all the time and you just can't wait to find out even though we all know how it turns out. Did I forget anything?
I know right! I already know all the answers but i still find myself wondering when I'm re-reading
Another interesting parallel between Harry and Draco in this book is that Draco was also a "Chosen One" because Voldemort chose him to murder Dumbledore. That makes Draco the Chosen One for the Dark side as opposed to Harry being the Chosen One for the good side.
...
Oh wow
I never noticed that
Same, never noticed it...
@@paigedel1961 yeah, exActly
They both also realized that they didn’t want to be the “chosen one” for either side
Avery Evans i know it’s so dumb
Same with Lupin and tonks they don’t even touch on it. Tonks just calls him ‘sweetheart’ and in Deathly Hallows they just rock up like HEY WE’RE MARRIED AND ALSO THERES A KID NOW. A real shame actually bc out of all the couples Bill and Fleur and Lupin and Tonks are the best written couples in the fandom and they’re the only couples the RomCom of a HPB movie doesn’t touch on
yeah the movie really screwed them over. I loved how in the book Fleur said she still loves Bill even though his face is unrecognizable and this is a big development for her as she isn't just a shallow diva anymore and she and Molly make up
The only problem with your videos are... they are too good and addictive
Soo true
For me it's that they're kinda long, but other than that I love them so much. If anything I want them to be shorter so I can watch more of them faster
Ya the videos would be perfect if not for that dang
Theyre just too good for me to like them
I don’t mind the length. They are quality. He puts in a lot of work in them and the length allows them to fine. His class.
I agree 100%
I always get so irritated when people say that there is so chemistry between Harry and Ginny, Harry was madly in love with him all the time but Hermione just gave her advice so that maybe he would be more interested in her
He fell in love with who she is as ń person and became to realise how beautiful she actually is
And what I absolutely loved is exactly what you said, the way he would always be worried about what would Ron think and what would happen to their friendship
He also at one point just wanted to get alone with her to ask her out but Ron NEVER let them be alone together 😂😂
Ginny x Harry in the book: SHIP YES SHIP
Ginny x Harry in this movie: Wtf
Yup
@@Miao559 You should definitely read the books, yes.

Draco Malfoy is still bad. At the end of the day he’s a horrible bully, just not a murderer

I’ll always stand by HBP is best book worst movie.
But what about The Goblet Of Fire?
Completely agree. Goblet of Fire is second worst, but didn't have an extra scene nearly as bad as the weasleys house being burnt. So HPB will always be worse than GoF for me
It almost seems like the movie was purposely sabotaged. The fact that they didn't even put Dumbledore's funeral in it at all, when it would have been the perfect ending, instead of ending it the way they did every other movie where they are just standing there, reflecting on what happened. I mean the Love Story was bad enough, but I personally feel like they took a disease-ridden shit all over us by not even bothering with it.
For me, the plot kind of made the movie good, despite despite being the second worst adaption (After Goblet of Fire obviously)
HBP is not the worst movie. Yeah it could be bad here and there but overall out if mostly of the movies it is the best in my opinion
You don’t need to convince me. It’s already my favorite. Just sad the movie adaptation was so bad.
Well,its true.

Snape... always
i love the part where Harry tells Snape "no need to call me Sir!'

Are you a Tool fan??
yeah at that point Harry's hatred for Snape grew and he was no longer taking shits from him.
And I’m sure Neville was like, “ YOOOOOOOOO…”
Yeah he's an extremely well- written character
Yeah he’s a great character, I wouldn’t say I’m a HP fan but his storyline really grabbed me. There are parts where he comes off as a bit of a cartoon villain but he also feels like a real, deeply flawed person who changes for the better. The way everything came together in The Prince’s Tale was beautiful.
In the end I still didn’t like him bc of how he treated the students at hogwarts and bc of other things he did, but I do think he’s a very well written character
@@GreySeashell-j3m he never cared for Harry , in the end it was only to destroy Voldemort

DigiWarriorCallum well I like it because it is proof that Hermione is flawed, just like everyone else.
Hermione is very close minded and for obvious reason she doesn't think Harry is worth listening to because well, he's not the smartest person.
If not for Hermione's close-mindedness, she would be quite an unrealistic character.
13:50 Still angry what Star Wars has done to him. He is a great actor and General Hux could’ve been a compelling villain.
Nirawit Karnjanasomwong General Hux was badass in FA, was ruined in the opening of TLJ (shocker) and became a joke in ROS

Yessss i love these kinda videos dudee

This is the most senior year of school, for as a reader we graduate and in book 7 we no longer attend with Harry.
One of the most badass lines Harry said in the book, to Narcissa, was exactly what the Malfoys deserved.
"(pointing out that Dumbledore wasn't around) wow, look at that he's not here! So why not have a go! Maybe they'll have a double cell for you and your loser of a husband!"
how very James Potter of him.
@Mister Galaga given that Draco started it by (predictably) indulging in his family's bigoted beliefs, calling Hermione a Mudblood. Then Narcissa in turn threatened Harry if he attacked Draco again. This was where Harry's response came in. He was calling her bluff
harry ate too bad that wasn’t in the movie
You should make video essays on every book as well because you've been doing it so good
I was eagerly waiting for this
Too many great moments:
- Voldemorts backstory
- Ginny and Harrys kiss
- Draco and Harrys duel
- The entire cave scene including dat fire spell.
- "I'm not worried Harry, I'm with you"
- "Harry will handle it"
"Accio Rosmertas brooms" (I dunno I really like that part)
- The entire scene up until Dumbledore dies
- Harry and Snape duel and revelation
- The funeral
OMG I love the "Accio Rosmerta's brooms" part too! 🥰
hi, really enjoy your videos keep up the good work :)
Half board prince is my favourite too...
It has all...
flashback of Voldemort's past,
Harry and dumbledore's relationship,
Romance, Suspence,
Characters' transition,
And ultimately a brilliant ending that leaves us with pain, hope and thrill...
Loved it
2:25 Maybe also Tom Riddle. There was lots about his past since it was the focus of the book. The rest of the book was focused mainly on Draco sneaking around and the book of the half blood prince.
Just realise how much effort he puts in his videos even during corona. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!💪💪👍👍
I mean, what else would a content creator do when stuck at home? :P
Can you do an episode explaining Ron and Hermione’s relationship how it was well written please I would really like that
its made now
I can’t find it :(
They were so badd
@Mauricio Ortega no I won't fck off

Incredible
I love the beginning of HBP. It’s super cool at the time to get a glimpse of the wizarding world from someone other than Harry’s POV.
I cried when Dumbledore died and because snape did it (he my favorite character), my family thinks am overreacting about it.
he wanted him to will him
brooke rodriguez I know but it's so sad that Harry has to see that 😭
Abbie Dominguez snape is my favorite to and I was crying so much and I think my dad was to a bit
But he did it because Dumbledore was already gonna die since he put on the ring. And to help malfoy. I'm sure you know that😂
Elî FIFO I know that he was going to die but if he die later then it would hurt that much, also what hurts me the most is that snape did it.
Ginny is the only reason why this book becomes my fave. Not gonna lie.
Ginny is my favourite character, and for a while I had HBP as fave in quite a big part due to her character, but now I feel that OotP does a really good job in developing her character.
For me too
This book wasn't high on my favorite HP books list at first. And then I read it.
Btw what happened to Arnold the Pygmy Puff?
Edit : #drapple
DJ REACTIONS I think J.K forgot about it...
@@namiweiko3673 oh
He probably died during the war, or Ginny had to leave him at her parents house before going back for sixth year.
I have it 5th
Probably eaten by crookshanks
This will always be my favorite book and, yes, even my favorite movie.
Morgan really outdoing himself every single time. You're literally the best Harry Potter/Wizarding World fan channel. I admire you so much! You're brilliant.
15:04 Ginny is also reading the daily prophet
Just started reading the _Half Blood Prince_ again last night, my favorite book of the series & it’s not even close! Love all of the Voldemort flashbacks ⚡️
Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, and Tom Riddle. Voldemort has a part in almost all the books and movies but i think this one has the most about him by diving into how he rose to power
aat the ending of most the books i was like whoa thats a good ending but at the end of the 6th book i was shook and speechless it was by far the best
I like writing books, story’s and this channel makes me respect so many authors and just I love this channel so thank you for giving me inspiration
