The dyno run was mostly for fun so the data isn’t complete. Max 96 rwhp Top speed 148 Doing some calculations it looks like Max hp was reached just before 8000rpm
I liftet the ports on the H2. The top reffs where 10500rpm, had to fine balance the crankshaft because off vibrations taking nearly my handelbars out of my hands. The power was incredibal the petrol consumtion too. 50-60mile range only. Had to add an extra clutch plate, clutch was slipping, had to get an extra hardend chain, chain was ripping. I would have needed frame modification, but at this stage I sold it because of the petrol, it wasn't fun to drive from petrol to petrol station at top speed, plus the tyre consumption. That was 1980. With the standart exhaust pipes.😁🤩😍😇😇
Very cool to see on dyno my 750 is ported cut pistons heads are done etc. I have found person with my H2 Is with moving port maps around changing set ups several times they make great power an you can really get good mid range outta them but they don’t seem to be rev machine motors mine always seemed to make its highest hp at 8k to 8500rpm love your video an bike sounds great
Max RPM is a function of the pipe. These WTF 110mm pipes stopped making power at 8000 rpm with spectacular midrange! We ran it to 10,000 rpm, I had the limiter set, just to see if it would over rev. I usually run the limiter ay 8900 rpm. Piston speeds get pretty high after 8000 rpm with the 66mm stroke. It now has new WTF 140mm pipes, Shipmann Heads, and TMX carbs. Haven't had it on a Dyno since this video but it should be over 100 rwhp now.
on my 1972 H2 I disconnected the cable to the oil injection pump still got plenty of oil if you have clouds of smoke that;s too much oil. On my 250RM I mixed at 80 to 1 never had a problem and never fouled a plug. On my Ski boat they recommend 20 to 1 are you kidding me I cut that way back to.
the oil pump is as well oiling the cornroads and crankeshaft, you can see it on the outlett of the oilports, when you take the cylinder off. and it regulates the amount of oil injectet depending on Your acceleration. You don't have all this, when you mix it straight into the petrol.

Yes that’s really good. I had a king cobra 73 750 stage three. ported pipes and carb work. Made close to 120hp. Miss that bike.
