I built this MOC about two weeks ago. Your review is spot on! It's really cool looking and strong, and the criticisms are minor. I will say that this ship takes up a ton of space when the wings are open. You can't just put it on a shelf.
Great design, and video. I built a Lego digital Dune design for my dad for Christmas, he was impressed. I hope to show it to everyone on a new channel someday.

Built this moc the other day and it's brilliant. Your issue with the rear landing gear however can be easily fixed by deploying the ramp and pulling out those support beams. If you're having issues with that, take a look at the Brickvault video on this exact moc, they run through the process of fully deploying the landing gear Hope this helps
Man, I would love some Dune sets. Even if they use a generic face for all of the figures, seeing that they’re all played by A-list actors and actresses.
@@TheBoogeyman_8 I paid for them on rebrickable. Several people have posted instructions, but I used Brick Boss Ornithoptor V2. Just a note-I chose that version because I liked the 1-piece “helicopter” blades, but those blades were about $3 each when I built it and they look like they’ve just about doubled in price since then.
Would be cool if you merge the official set with this MOC, change the colored pins, have the better wings, but closed sides where the LEGO set has the movement parts

Compared to the Lego version, the nose looks a bit more accurate, but overall the craft seems stubby... I think Lego got the length right.
