I knew of the game but never bothered to try until yesterday just to get a card for fun. Ended up getting Barbatos, my favorite. I enjoyed the tutorial but really wanted to play for real. That’s when I found your channel. Your introduction videos and document guide are spectacular! I played 4 ranked matches today with the knowledge I learned from these videos and had a blast. I’m still extremely new but love the group I put together, at least for now. Thanks for doing this. And I hope you keep putting out more!
Glad to find a guide in English. Just started playing last week, even drew a P rare my first game, but was working entirely off of the tutorial through Google Translate 😅 I just got a Bandai card so I need to figure out all the details of how to use those bonuses too
This was great. Really helps me to figure out what cards I should build for my team. Can't wait for your next videos with some team ideas. Hopefully it's out before I go to Japan next month.
Thanks for the comment! I wanted to do a team theory crafting part but I took it out since the game was getting an update the next few days. Now that it's out I'm gathering some examples to talk about :)
thanks so for much this! perfect timing as i’m on the train to play some AB. glad to hear i should play what i like as long as i consider balance. i’ve been buying cards of my favorite characters/mobile suits and not caring so much about the meta
Its new in season 4 that just started. I think Zudah, GP-01FB and some other cards have an ability that increses their evasion chance, with more chance of evasion the higher the mobility. In general mobility is simply how fast they move/ground they can cover while dashing.
I have a question. I can get some arsenal base cards here in indonesia however i do not know if the cards has been registered or not. Can i play cards that are registered by someone else?
Just arrived in Japan, do you have a link to that Newbie document? Would love some help to interpet the cards and what is good or not. OR even better if you are in Tokyo maybe meet up and show us how to play?
@@Valkerion I see, well, will try to move to Japan this year so maybe I'll be able to learn to play be9by then. Hit, just came up to gold but now it feels like I'm getting spanked no matter what I do and can't really find a good team anymore so need to understand the Ms synergies it feels like. My previous understanding isn't good enough 🤣
Not a bad idea. I mostly went with the most common translation for what is written but I call them by color or function like base attacker or unit attacker when speaking or commentating my matches. As long as people understand it, I'll call it whichever they need :)
I was reliant on your initial videos when I first tried the game. But after a few games in season 4, I thought that maybe we can try to translate it better since we’re doing it from scratch
Essentially yes. Resellers/card shops carry it in various quantities but they are all "used" since the only new cards are from the cabs. Some cardshops also have the common cards etc either for free or a very low price. The other/best way though to get the cards or as many as possible for free is to check the "recycle box" aka, cards that are not wanted. You can essentially complete a seasons worth of cards minus the rarest stuff obviously, instantly this way if you check it before the cards are recycled.
I don't think it's available outside Japan or at least I have not seen any information about it. It seems like it will be exclusive to Japanese arcades like most card based arcade titles. As for recording, some arcades have simple capture devices, the same kind you can get for home game console recording. It's setup the same way. Just pop in a USB and hit record.
today i went to play without knowing nothing, my second battle was an EX battle, i didn't understand nothing and i didn't want to pay, i thought it was some kind of promotion so i wanted to go back to the regular game, i ended with nothing just loosing 100y🤡

Bro you actually save my life
I didn't understand anything about the game since I don't know JP and you actually help me a lot thanks
Thats what I'm here for :)

Totally not searching this video after already playing like 10 games without understanding the mechanics...
That's how I got along for the first few months
Really helpful video thankyou
Quick question I couldn't find anywhere how do you activate the PL skills on the pilots?

Awesome, glad it could be helpful! I'll update the description with the document link!
Thanks for making this :) still enjoying this game a lot even though I'm not winng much.
I'm having issues accessing the Google Sheet :( Anyone has a copy they can share?
Is mobility particularly important? I drew Zudah from the new season and it appears to work on an Evasion gimmick that I was unaware of

@@Valkerion I see, then I wonder how good this Evasion mechanic is and if it's worth stacking mobility stat. I can't get enough of this game!

The cards can be used by anyone no problem. They are not registered to any accounts or systems.
Thanks for the reply bro. Will be in japan in several months. Looking fwd to the game

Sorry I don't live in Tokyo! I'll be there for EVO Japan in two weeks but thats about it.
I added a link to the document to the video!

Hey man, so I was thinking, What if you name Pilot classes as the following:
Assault or Siege (Suppression), Combat (Annihilation), Defense

Is the only way to get cards through the arcade cabinet besides resellers?

How did you record this and is it possible to play outside of japan?

I noticed there's a rating for terrain, does that affect much?
It affects the movement speed somewhat. Because stages are random unless there is an event, most players simply ignore it.

So basically clash royal for arcades 😅
Never played it... so maybe!? 🤣
@@Valkerion its a Mobile game with exactly the same mechanic but less ''breaks of cutscenes ''
