2:20 Chat clears this up shortly after, but here's the explanation: If you fire off 100 arcane missiles at a 1000-health minion, you'll be dealing 300 damage to the face and the minion combined. On average, 150 damage to the face and 150 damage to the minion, therefore 1.5 is the expected average damage output to the minion per spell. There's a 50% chance to kill it if it has 2 health though, which is probably where the confusion comes from.
Triggerfisk wouldn’t the expected damage actually be lower than 1.5? Since the case of 3 damage to the minion can’t happen. Still a 50% to kill it though.
Edit: wait nevermind. Got confused into thinking you were still talking about the 2 health minion at that point
I feel like the most common mistake for anyone playing the hero power deck is forgetting that your hero power doesn’t cost zero while your shrine is down.

H Burns when king crimson is activated for ten seconds you lose all ability to react to anything, like if you are going to move to the right but you see someone is going to punch in the spot your moving to you would move. King crimson makes it so you are unable to react to anything within the 10 seconds so diovolo can kill you.
A shame you won't live long enough to realise the reality of King Crimson.

11:50 he actually had exact lethal. The opponent had 26 health stats on board and 27 health. That brings his total health effectively to 55. By playing Razzle Dazzler and daring fire eater he gets 5 arcane missiles when he uses living roots on it. Since his hand will then be all spells the shrine gives him +10 spell power. This makes the first missiles 13. second 12, third 11. fourth 10, and finally fifth 10. 13+12+11+10+9 - 55 making exact lethal. Like this, if you found it interesting as it took me a long time to spot this.
Edit , its much simpler than that since razzle dazzler is a battlecry so it was over lethal

You're mistaken Trump. The 2 health shaman one is a bit ridiculous. Stuff like rain of toads and frostwolves (or whatever that spell is) really make that shrine stronk af. Only shrine where I steamrolled every boss without issue
I beat Rumble Run with the Bottled Terror shrine deck, it turned out to be REALLY strong with deathrattle activators, a 1/1 start of game minion that has immune, and the passive ability that kills their shrine when yours dies.
felt good to finally crush these fights and hit them in the face for a ton of damage.
Correct me if I'm wrong: I believe at 56:20, Trump Missed Lethal. You Arcane Blast your own shrine (getting a fireball), and then hero power it to kill it. Then you have 3 fireballs that cost (2) each and you deal 18 damage to face for exact lethal (10 more damage, since you miss 2 damage on opponent's face with hero power).
If you do a run with the Bottled Terror, i found that the Pesky Rascal team-mate was quite good. Immune creature that keeps getting buffed? Value

Janalai’s flame is great. I managed to get a Kodo rider and “minions next to your shrine gave taunt”, so I ended up with a nearly infinite supply of 3/5 zero mana taunts. And a Dalaran aspirant with like 40 spell power on it, because I BMed the final boss until he fatigued to death. And a mukla’s champion. It was excessive.
You laugh at Thekal, but he is actually in my opinion the hardest final boss in the Rumble with Grace - particularly because he just straight up walls minion/combat centered decks from having any chance of beating him.
In WowCrendor's last video Thekal got Sound the Bells on the wall card.
Ended up something like a 15/27 that can only take 1 damage at a time.
I was so frustrated when he was a wimpy towel in Trump's run, while I got my face stomped in with basically the same deck. Only difference is that he drew early game and I drew only my most expensive cards.
After the 6 mana wall and the shrine you basically cannot kill with arcane missiles it just got worse and worse. At least now I know that this guy has two Bolvars for some reason.
I beat walking fortress and the 5-7 divine shield guy with that with the overload shaman + kelthuzad reincarnate + shrine deathrattle kill opponent shrine. My easiest run was the janalai hero power one... it was a piece of cake. Done every class except paladin and warlock
Anybody else seeing a LOT of pirate rogues for some reason today? I ran into 5 different people in a row playing it. Not that they're OP or anything just weird didn't expect that deck to show up till rotation came

That is probably those wanting to try out somethings with the nerfs, with kingsbane control dying they are probably just looking at another version of that deck.
If it's the tempo style pirate rogue it has a damn good winrate so that's not surprising
Your playing on Rank 5/10/15/20? There is a Lot of experimenting. Tempo pirate with kingsbane is Tier 2 actually.

Hey Trump, I know this is going to be weird asking: But could you make a Lynx Quest Hunter deck? I saw someone playing the new Lynx cards with Quest Hunter and Deathstalker Rexar, and was picking my jaw off the floor after I noticed what was happening.
So far I saw two variations: Toximaster (giving Rush+Poisonous 1/1s), and the one that gives +2/+2 to beasts that you draw.
I love how Trump consistently uses all of the awesome cards he rated 1 star, and refers to them as awesome. Or, in Blast Wave's case, 2 stars.

You played the Razzle Dazzler wrong in the first deck. You needed to dump all your hand before playing it to have your hand full of arcane missiles the turn your shrine comes back up, instead of breeding value as the the mayor of value town does. It would have won you many games I reckon.

The easiest so far for me was the Shaman Loa, I just got luck to pick some unstable evolution with the loa discounting 2 mana cost for my spells. It seems that turn 2 with two or three Deathwings is a win for sure.

The hero power shrine is 100% overpowered as fuck if you get the fan of flames card as your first teammate. You can control the board straight away dealing so much damage each turn, I steamrolled every opponent it's mad.
I can't believe that deck held up against that super fatigue druid deck. It outvalued a fatigue deck...
Duplicate your spell power shrines(every other turn), so you always have 1 shrine even if the enemy breaks it at the end of your turn, for an extremely OP board.
The first deck Trump had lethal so many games even the one he lost if you would had played out all of the minions the turn before his shrine rez and then played missiles.

I know you're a pro but I hope this helps: If you see Luna's pocket galaxy always take it even if Jan'alai Dragon hawk is one of the cards there. You will almost always see Jan'alai again so pocket galaxy is insane! Edit: Like a legend you got it later in the video XD, the value is UNLIMITED Muhahahahahaha!!!

20:18 trump is wrong. Each missle deals 1.5 damage to a minion on average.
One way is to write down all combinations for 3 missiles (m - minion, h - hero):

h m m m h m m m h . 8 combinations possible, 12 minion hits in total. => On average 3 missiles deal 12/8 = 1.5 damage.
Another way to look at this is that every missile is independent from each other (if minion's health is more or equal to 3) and has only two possible hit combinations: h or m. => On average single missile deals 1/2 = 0.5 damage. => On average 3 missiles deal 3 * 0.5 = 1.5 damage.

Mage rumble run is SO easy I've gotten two wins with it and one of them I got with the quad Jan'alai Dragon hawk :D Edit: I did both of my wins with the hero power shrine, it's pretty amazing especially with 5 ragnaros XD

Technically it is since you're spending the card and thus the spell damage. Ironically, if he did it vice versa then 11+12 would be 23 since I believe both cards in the deck were spells.
It's also the mario because you do nothing but spit fireballs the whole time and stomp your opponent.

You can't do 1.5 damage with an ability that does 1 damage at a time, so even though strictly speaking it's an average of 1.5 damage the expected value is 2 damage to the minion half of the time, and 2 damage to face the other half of the time

Overload shrine is the worst? ...Yeah, sure.
I've seen the Overload shrine produce 30+ Burst damage in a turn in the mid tiers (When you have like 40 health max). I consider the Rogue bottled shrine to be the worst, I've never seen the AI get a cheat-highroll from it.
