Hi, can you plz tell me which one do you suggest between dr brown and philips sterilizer and dryer, i am confused bcz dr browns needs filter replacement every 6 months where as in philips sterilizer there is no replacement of filter. Also please suggest quality and function wise which is best between philips and dr brown.
@@urteruddy8205 you're supposed to use distilled water so it doesn't build up scale from the minerals in the water. I was trying to use filtered water and it built up a lot of scale and It must have overheated because after that it would not heat at all just blow air.
Hi , when the Auto cycle is finished it beeps then shut off automatically. When I try to run a 2nd cycle back to back it doesn't let me. Is that normal ? I pressed the Auto button again and it only beeps constantly without turning on the steam
If you use only Avent bottles, then you should go with Avent Sterilizer. If you use multiple different brands of baby bottles then go with Dr. Brown's. Philips Avent Sterilizer doesn't hold well with other brand's, especially with other brand's tall bottles, the lid won't be able to close.
Hi does any one know, at the beginning all was normal when click on auto, but now I click on auto and it seems only to sterilize for a few minutes and stars beeping without stop. Did I messed up?
The manual says you need to let it cool down between sessions otherwise the water evaporates before it can finish sterilizing… or did you fill to the proper fill line?
Not sure which baby brezza sterilizer are you referring to. If you are comparing this dr brown against this baby brezza, amzn.to/3L3S66q, then I would suggest you to get the dr brown. It's a whole lot cheaper and they both work just the same. However, if money is not an issue, I'll suggest to go with baby brezza superfast, amzn.to/41tIMOC. This is a completely different beast! There is no other sterilizer and dryer in the market that can do both job and finish in 10 minutes, not even close. So, if you want budget go with dr brown, want speed go with superfast.
@@NewParentsInTrainingI just saw you video on Phillips avent premium and it didn’t dry all the way in its time so I feel I wouldn’t mind waiting the extra time for this one to have everything really dry for real.
Thank you for this! I had the Phillips on my registry and your videos quickly made me change my mind to Dr. Browns! Appreciate you.

Thanks for using the timer!!!
We had one but accidentally messed it up when trying to descale it. Now it won't steam, just dry.
How did you mess it up? I want to get this and make sure I don’t make the same mistake

@@rudymustang06we just got it yesterday and it is now only letting us dry and not steam😢 is there a way to get it working again ?
If you are just using the drying feature do you still need to add water?
No

you need to refill the water after each cycle
So if I open the lid to take out one bottle? Do I have to sterilise the rest of the bottles again?
Yes
How often do you have to change the filter?
6 months
!
Thanks for the video great job explaining everything
In your opinion which do you think is better between this and the Phillips avent sterilizer

I messed up. I accidentally put 80 ml white vinegar and then 30 ml water to sterilize 😭
Did it break?

Prob didnt use distilled water and have mineral build up. Or it's just broke.

You forgot to mention to use distilled water only
He did mention it
But why only distilled water only?
@@m.j.maduro8269less mineral deposit

You don't need to put any soap on it?
You have to wash and rinse items with soap first, this device just sterilizes the items, different than cleaning.
@necronomicunt thank you for answering me. I really appreciate it.
Does it sterilize breast pump parts?
Yes it does, I used to sterilize mine with this all the time
Yes
54 minutes?! 😭 Are they all that long?
Where does the filter fit?
It fits underneath !
