Thank you for this video. Indeed a great test. I think I might purchase 2 200d with F10 Fresnel. Your video helped me with my decision. All the best & keep up the great work.
i pursached 2x fresnel because aputure lie its work wekkl with this 200d. No its not. Loose a lot of light. Do you say f10 better? :O What is the cons with it?
@@HugoWill they lied :D Hyper reflector not bad just ugly hotspot in middle, and shadows duplicated at edge. With fresnel i can get much realistic shadow more similar to sun... Maybe a third party reflector.
@@eszesfilms1651 because of the hot spot you can this reflector isn’t that good. Good reflections don’t do that. But to get sun quality like 600d with f10 frensel will be significantly better
The Amaran 200D dish has a major hot spot compared to the 300d. Most of the comparisons with the dishes aren't very useful since they don't produce even fields.
that's why using an F10 Frensel with it makes sense, and if you put the light thru the diffusion then it works fine too. Considering the price, I can forgive that. and also I could just buy a different type of dish
awesome review, like the way you explain things, quick professional and to the point.

Great test. Sorry if you mentioned this, what ISO where you using for the tests?
Probably 800. But it wasn’t important for the test

F10 isn’t perfect either. Probably better to get a nicer reflector dish. But yeah. 2x frensel doesn’t work
