VEGGIE SOUP RECIPE
Ingredients:
- Any fresh or frozen veggies (I used fresh sweet potato and a mix of frozen broccoli, cauliflower & carrot)
- Water
- Coconut milk
- Veggie stock (liquid or powdered)
Directions:
- If using fresh veggies, boil first in a large pot (with enough water to cover the veggies)
- Once cooked, add in frozen veggies, add more water if necessary
- Add in coconut milk & veggie stock (and salt and pepper to taste)
- Once veggies are defrosted, turn off heat, blend with immersion blender (or transfer to blender / food processor) and blend until smooth and creamy
- Serve alone or as a side dish! Enjoy :)

Decor suggestion: Just drape a folded or unfolded large blanket over some part of the couch. Make sure its a soft, warm colored, fallish fabric blanket. Should make it look inviting and ever ready for cuddling.

Definitely paint the Wall behind the TV as a statement Wall 👌 and maybe get some pillows in a similar colour. I think your place looks beautiful, but a little colour would look even more elegant.

I think you should get some velvet or regular green pillows for the couch so it can be a pop of color also will go with your plants. I would recommend getting some warm tones like letter or light wood so the room doesn’t feel so cold
Some ideas for kitchen island centerpiece: candle holder, vase with ivy branches, decorative kitchen scale, a glass water graffin with glass cups, for Christmas holidays: a bowl with Christmas ornaments, another plant or succulent arrangement, glittery or wooden base as you said with a leg so it has some dimension, a bowl of fruits...

Hi Annie. I’ve been living in Germany for 2 years now and it’s crazy how early it started to snow compared to previous years. What’s even more crazy is that it snowed exactly the 1st of December lol. I think we are going to have a chilly winter. I would love to see a video on how you organize your kitchen and even what products you use to wash your clothes and have them looking so sleek every time.
I think Farrow & Ball’s Hague Blue would look beautiful as an accent wall behind the TV. Or why not a textured, but still neutral wallpaper since its a small space.

Annie I love your apartment. Stunning. And just as you are adding wooden touches to your kitchen, I think that you need some wooden touches in your living room. Your couch is beautiful and I would not add any cushions, but for sure a big knit cozy throw!
I think a few pillows would like nice and cozy. As soon as I saw that TV-wall, I thought a built-in high shelf would look amazing. Like fill the area with wall-to-wall and floor to ceiling built-in bookshelf, with TV in the middle. Would look very sleek and the area is perfect for it.
You are always an inspiration & look terrific in your new fabletics-wear, you definitely have the figure for it, I don't think they'd look quite as nice on my almost 64 year old body (this coming Sunday)!!! With the intense heat of summer over I can finally say I'm glad to be in Arizona. I spent the 1st half of my life in Chicago (the Windy City) & had my fill of snow, sub-zero cold, wind & ice, I had chills just seeing the snow from your window (now our daytime highs are in the upper 60s & low 70s Fahrenheit with lots of sunshine AZ is the #1 state for sunny days & Phoenix is the #1 U.S. city for sunshine - it is so uplifting).
Hi Annie...beautiful apartment! Very bright, clean and inspiring with a very warm and homey feel! I think a built in wall unit in that nook would be lovely. One that includes shelving, doors, mantle, tv and electric fireplace for ambience. There is many beautiful patterns of tile that you could choose from to accent the fireplace. How lovely it would be to decorate a mantle for the holidays.

The Console Table wall can be painted in a nice Darker Blue Shade Range. The corner tree area beside it can be used by putting in some glass shelves for books, small lamp, etc.
For your Kitchen Island center piece you could have a fancy glass/mirrored tray with flowers and candles. Or you could put together a fancy cloche with seasonal decor.
Hi Annie. I love your home decor. I think 2 winter pillows will give the cozy vibe. Try pillows more Boho, in neutral colors. To the kitchen table: a wood tray with a big jar of glass (no color) with a lid with pine cones and cinnamon sticks inside. (At spring you can put your lemons in the jar.) 😘
Love the new couch Annie! I think for your wall where your tv is, it would be really nice if you get a tv stand that covers over the entire space so there is no extra space on the sides where as right now you have a smaller stand you have empty space that needs to be filled. And it will allow for more storage and more cabinets :)
I love the new hardware for the kitchen - it definitely needed some contrast so I am glad you chose black. As for the couch, I think it definitely needs a few pillows and maybe a throw blanket. That room is in need of more texture for sure. As for the wall behind the tv, I love the idea of making it a statement wall. How about a fun textured wallpaper? That would look fantastic.
adding a white fluffy throw adds texture and extra comfiness! Probably no need for pillows!
The couch looks great and cozy! Neutral pillows would look 👌. You should consider painting the accent wall behind the TV Matt black!!! Also, a modern electric fireplace with storage would make the space even cozier 😉

Hi, Annie, the black matte handles are a great choice! I would say that once you decide on a color for your statement wall, get a throw that matches, print or solid. Goop doesn’t have the S&P grinders either. I put them on my wish list, they are wonderful.

I think for the living room I would only get maybe just a bigger tv and as for a kitchen island some gold or vintage citrus squeezer and basket with fresh lemons would look nice (something to make your mornings with water lemon little more excited 😊 )
Definitely no cushions on the sofa! We have had a similar sofa in white for about 4 years now and it doesn't have 1 stain on it..and I have a daughter. The fabrics are generally polyester and not cotton so it is surprisingly easy to keep clean as marks usually easily lift out. I would suggest not to use the Scotchgard. We have had a few sofas manufactured and they always advise against it. It builds up on the fabric and yellows in the sun. It happened to our previous sofa where the sun hit it. Vanish can also yellow. I would advise an upholstery cleaning solution, you get all natural ones too that work pretty great👍
I also advise against any chemicals such as Scotchgard...for health reasons more than anything. I suggest having a basket of throw blankets nearby and just getting into the habit of always having a blanket under you when spending a lot of time on the sofa. :)

you should look into sphere shape cushions. itll suit your couch perfectly 😍 - if you go for a more organic console, a lime wash paint would look 👌🏼 - also large stems in a beautiful vessel always looks great on a kitchen island 🤍
What a gorgeous sofa. I love it. It looks very sleek without cushions but it’s always nice to have some to cosy up with. You could store them in a basket next to the sofa when you aren’t using them. We have a similar couch in grey but ours doesn’t seat as many. It’s a smaller space. The kitchen handles look great. Nice find! I love everything about your apartment.
The soup looked delicious. We have the same salt and pepper grinders! Ours are copies of the original Menu ones (presume that’s what you have). I always liked them but when I saw the copies in Aldi a couple of years ago they were almost identical so I bought them. They’ve been good but sticking a bit now. A couple of months ago I saw the original ones in a department store -love the new colour choices, so I’m going to upgrade! 😂

Annie! Panneling would work really good in the tv space. It would made such a statement but at the same time it would look subtle. Or you could call a Carpenter and make kind of book shelving for books of other decor.
You should do a floating TV unit to make the area look open but still practical!
I think u can make the TV wall in white brick finish textured wall and TV unit table in a wooden piece with black base will go good as everything is in scandi and neutral mood .anyway just an small idea...😍🙏👍
