I was a strong vibrant alive with the love of life. A woman with a kind heart who would help anyone who needed help. Then I got into a horrible relationship with a man who cares for no one but himself. He took everything from me my soul, my life, my will to live!! I’m nothing but an empty shell with no desire to live. I have attempted suicide 3 times without success but I know that someday I will free myself from this pain. I totally relate to the woman in the video for this song. The difference between us is she did have someone who cared for her and I have no one. I sing this song for the strength it gives me.
Life sucks most of the time, but every once in a while there are brief moments where everything is just perfect, and suddenly it was all worth it. Life is hard work, but totally doable.
