I played as Mark in this scenario for a number of reasons, as I feel he has a greater edge over the other characters when playing Wild Things on very hard... one of them is that door at the beginning. That door has an issue of having zombies sometimes coming after you from behind, often wasting time. I usually grab the Revolver and Plywood in the starting area and use that to break the door; Mark's Heavy Swings mechanic with melee weapons and emptying the spare magazine and revolver into the door to open it helped a lot. Prefer to waste that free ammo magazine in order to make room for the four items in the Alley, the Hunting Rifle, Shotgun Rounds, Cassette Tape, and Bolt Cutters.
Wow. If I knew that you only had to wait for the Elephant to lift its head to deal extra damage with the Hunting Rifle, it would have made the dozens of playthroughs much shorter. Thanks, might make fighting Titan and Stalker on Very Hard in a single playthrough possible, rather than simply knifing one of them to death to fight the other.

I guess that was no damage tho, cause at the end screen with the stats, it no damage is highlighted. According to the game itself it was a no damage run. I know that getting hit by the bugs isnt guaranteed poison, so maybe they do no damage at all except for poison and he didnt get poisoned off that hit.

@@kingdom8064 i have wt solo run no damage on Horror mode, horror only have in online and makes you start with 80% vg and nightmare is on too :p so its pretty much hard and we cant cheat or use save ztates in online
I don't think they actually do any health damage, they only cause virus build up, and I think they might also poison but you will be fine if you cure it before any poison damage ticks

Resident evil outbreak was a fucking good game (history, graphic and jogability) ....Too bad the characters became useless after the end of Raccon City. I think some of them could be used in another's game like Yoko (she has a deep connection with Umbrella) and Kevin (after the outbreak he could be a special agent like Leon).
I wished they continued the outbreak idea but... They should take out bloody time and stuff... Maybe the virus should continue, but, only one looong story, not various chapters or phases... And the virus would infect you with like a 30% of chance on normal zombies and 50% on stronger creatures... BUT, you could *stop* it -like...really heal it- with herbs.

I call bull on the fight with the elephant. I shot it 3 times with the rifle, 40 times with the revolver, broke 2 iron poles on it, and sliced it to many times to count with the knife and it was still standing. Then it killed me and ruined the run.
I think it's because he shot in the elephant's moutb, which of probably is a weakspot + headshot damage... and the rifle one shots those lions on normal mode... i dunno it's just my bet XD

Bro me and my friends downloaded a Japanese port that has online features and we beat Outbreak 1 on very hard and then moved on to this level and we spent 5 hours dying over and over again 😂 had to come check out the strategy. Being a Cindy main it makes me mad when I have to use most of my herbs on my friends when I call strategies out and my other two friends don’t listen 👀 Anyway does shooting the Elephant the way you did do more damage? Furthest we got was Lion boss and used a lot of ammo but we ended up dying. We thought it be the easier boss

When he growls, the elephant lifts up his head and reveals his mouth, and that part is where he reveals his weakspot (the mouth) so he can clearly get a direct shot on it
