Imma make people mad and give my personal ratings. Even though I have preferences, I do really like all of these themes. Also I guess this can be a rate the theme chain. 6. Joseph’s Theme (It’s really good and Lotus Juice is doing a lot for me, it’s just that the other themes have genres I like more. I also kinda feel like this does and doesn’t fit Joseph at the same time. Like it feels very aggressive but Joseph isn’t really a beatdown guy. At the same time, it does feel like you’re doing some insane shit, which is very much Joseph.) 5. Giorno’s Theme (There’s not anything wrong with it, it’s an amazing theme, but I think there are only a few things holding it back for me personally. For one, it is, or ig was, memed to hell so I’m a little tired of hearing it. Secondly, it’s in the same situation as Joseph’s where it does and doesn’t fit the character. It’s so high energy and funky which doesn’t seem like Giorno at all, but when I think about the idea that the point of Giorno is to be someone with a huge dream to accomplish, it makes it a bit more fitting. Lastly, there’s just something about some of the other themes that make me like them a bit more. Still amazing, I listen to that shit often.) 4. Jonathan’s Theme (Easily the most fitting theme for any character in JoJo ever. It really is kind of telling the story by itself with Jonathan being represented through the heroic and soft parts of it. Orchestra’s underrated and even though it’s not my favorite, the sort of ups and downs and buildups present in the track you can really only achieve with orchestra. Even if it may not be a song that you listen to often, it is a godly piece.) 3. Jotaro’s Theme (Godlike theme in all honesty. Jotaro being represented by leitmotifs played on electric guitars was a good choice. Also, I thought that this was another theme that may not have totally fit the character, but when I think about it, it’s actually one of the best ways to handle representing his character. It felt like Jotaro’s theme should grab a lot of power, and although the point of Jotaro is that he’s that he’s super strong, that is ultimately not the way he is as a character. He’s uncaring and rude, but he’s not supposed to be outwardly loud and impulsive in the same way that someone like Okuyasu may be. It’s a good way to adapt his character to a theme.) 2. Jolyne’s Theme (Yeah, I legitimately love this theme. Besides Jonathan and Joseph, every theme has some jazz element to it, and Jolyne’s has probably my favorite with the sort of Cuphead part that it plays. The beginning with the sort of boss-battle esque music, the singing, the quiet piano part at the end. All of it comes together really well. Also too the boss battle sort of feel really drives home the point that Jolyne’s resolve is legitimately scary to face against because she so versatile and willing to do what it takes. Love the fuck outta this theme.) 1. Josuke’s Theme (I mean come on. The greatest parts of this theme just sound heavenly. The vocals sound like they’re coming through speakers or a radio which can kinda be tied to the Morioh radio thing kinda. I feel like the point was to make it sound like you could hear it on the street if that makes sense. It’s both aggressive and causal in a way since that’s basically the duality of Josuke where he can get really angry but he also is actually nice, which also contributes to the duality of his power. The beatdown part, which is essentially also the main leitmotif for Josuke, is my favorite out of all the themes without a doubt. I can’t even describe what it’s so appealing. It’s heroic and triumphant and it has a good melody and it’s awesome. Amazing theme for a GOATed protagonist.)
