Shared it with RC Bashing, but he tested it before I ever did and sold me on the Gorilla Tough 36 lb braid. Hats off to him😂. It's like a rope almost and absorbs CA glue like a wick. Bonds very well with the tire. Great demonstration brother. Looking forward to seeing your bash test. The MX28s and Trencher 2.8s both thrash the front body if not strapped. 🍻🙋🙋😨😨😨😎💪👊👊

I painted some liquid roofing rubber around before the gorilla braid for an added layer of protection. My theory was for the braid to not be directly cutting into the wheel. The Isoflex liquid roofing rubber I use is very tough and then also after the braid is glued, I then apply some over the top to seal the braid in and cover it. I'm not sure that the liquid rubber underneath really matters but it was peace of mind and my Badlands mx38 been holding up awesome. I also use the liquid rubber with drywall tape to reinforce my shell as shoe goo is more expensive. 750ml of Isoflex is £15.99 here in the UK and spreads well, but I'm sure any liquid roofing rubber will do. Happy bashing my fellow RC warriors

Nice, looks like the outside wrap is the one. Should be a good balance of ballooning and not. I used 60lb mono filament fishing line on my big ass trenchers last spring and they have held up great. The mono filament seems to take abuse just fine. I thought the same as you about the braid not stretching at all. Seems to me (and you) that a little stretch could be helpful to the longevity of the tire. Great video brother!!

I’m looking for good tires for my kraton, my brotha bashing the kraton told me trenchers 40 series was the one to go with! What’s ur opinion? Also for diff fluid he told me 1million in center 7k in front n 50k in rear, what do u run?

If anyone knows there stuff it’s that dude 😁 I run 50k front 100k center and 7 or 10 in the rear. I’m keen to try 1M in the center and lock that little baby up. Maybe next oil change.
