إِذَا مَا قَــال لِـــي رَبِّي أَمَّا اسْتَحْيَيْت تَعْصِيْنِي
وَتـخَفِــي الْذَنْــب عَن خَلَقَي وَبِالْعِصْيَان تَأْتِيْنِي
فَكَيْف أُجِيْــــب يَا وَيْحِي وَمَن ذَا سَوْف يَحْمِيْنِي
أُسُلي الْنَّفْـــس بِالْآَمَـــال مِن حِيْن الَى حَيْنَي
وَأَنْسَى مَـــــا وَرَاء الْمَـوْت مَاذَا سَوْف تَكْفِيْنِي
كَأَنِّي قَد ضّمَنَـــــت الْعَيْش لَيْس الْمَوْت يَكْفِيْنِي
