You can tell synthwave develops quickly as this song from 6 years ago is now considered classical
80's had a spirit, and it's music shows it.
the future looked bright and full of possibilities back then. Little did we know we were all headed to this mass confusion, mass surveillance degenerative dystopia that we live in now. Present day Seattle Portland and I'd say even Austin are proof enuf
This song hits me hard, I find myself crying over it. I'm in love with this beautiful Melody.
Fact, I’m the same. At 47 and a music lover since the late 70s, this is up there with the best tunes I’ve ever heard
These songs do those memories you lost come flooding back right I know I cry still over 80s songs 😔😔😔😭😭
It definitely takes me back to the '80s yeah I get a little misty-eyed myself every time I hear it
Timecop1983 changed my life.
Valentin A same , midnight and timecop will always have special place in my heart
That moment when it all just clicks. This has just opened my eyes to a whole new side of music I'm obsessed with
Ironic to call it new, it's just hi res 1980s Synth and vocal aesthetics. I love it too.
I'm sorry, Danielle. I really wish things turned out differently. I do still love you. I do still care about you. You'll always be my human. Maybe in another life, my love...
I feel like this would've been a huge hit in the 80s if it was released back then..
Is there an 80s convention we could all attend, because I'd really love to meet other people "Stuck in The 80s". Please let that be the convention name.
Jonathan Jones In France we're gonna have the first edition of a music festival called Synthzilla. There will be chiptune and synthwave music so I guess it's not really that far of what you want, idk... I suppose that some people who love the 80's will be there. It will be in the south of France in Lyon, the 30 and 31 of October, if you want to know. ;)

Also, Perturbator and Carpenter Brut will be there! It sounds great!
+Jonathan Jones If there were an 80s convention in America, I would totally go! :) There MUST be something...
This is great and totally gets what 80s music videos were about.
waaaaaaaaaaay better than pop songs of today. We need some kind of music revival, this is the closest thing to what euphoria is, ever
Timecop has just been killing it lately. Amazing.
This song is wonderful. It feels like living in the 80s again, wonderful.
I'm sad and happy at the same time when I hear music like this. It makes me really wish I could turn back the hands of time but at the same time I really appreciate the fact that good folks are putting out music like this today. Great time to be alive.
Timecop1983 changed my life forever. 💜💜💜
So lets talk, talk all night long
But this time, say what should be said
I know its hard, but this for the best
Now its time, that we go separate ways
So for now
Lets just dance
You and I can dance
Lets just dance
This is our last chance
For a while, you have built up walls
And I don't know why, but I can't brake them down
And all we ever seem to do is shout, but I never know what its about
So lets turn the lights down low, its alright I know you like it slow
So for now
Lets just dance
You and I just dance
Yer lets dance
This is our last chance x2
So tonight yer lets dance
love this song so much...brings me back to the 80s when i was a carefree kid and the happiest.
now this is a love song. this is probably the best ideal prom song for any high school couples.
It's freaking amazing how they can make it sounds so 80s. This shit brings me back to one of the best eras. 1980.
Omg 👀 ! Stick her legs behind my ears ... And run home and tell my mother 👅
It's 2020 and I can't get enough from this fabulous Song !!!!! Thank you so much!!! Love from Damascus Syria
밤에 드라이브하면서 들으면 다른세상에 있는것같음..진짜 너무좋아 없던 추억도 생기는 노래ㅠㅠ
She has the NES gun for Duck Hunt! I used to have that as a kid :D
All these song are spiritual if you understand and feel what it's all about. One of my favorites of all time.👍
I'm so glad i was born in 1983 🙂 The excitement and nostalgia, there's nothing like it in the world.
40 Jahre her....man vermisse ich diese Zeit....war das ein schönes Jahrzehnt und es ist im Nachhinein, in wenigen Augenblicken, vergangen.
What is this that I'm feeling, never felt this power before,
such a beautiful song. Takes me back to the golden days in my pre-teen and teenage years in the 80s and 90s. How I miss those days. You don't appreciate an amazing era until its gone. Boy I wish I could relive those days...
This song gives me butterfly's every time I hear it. I listen to it daily!
This song man…. Right in the feels.. every. Time.
So let's talk, talk all night long
But this time say what should be said
I know it's hard but this for the best
Now it's time, that we go separate ways
So for now
Let's just dance, you and I can dance
Let's just dance, this is our last chance
For a while, you have built up walls
And I don't know why but I can't break them down
And all we ever seem to do is shout
But I never know what it's about
So lets turn the lights down low
It's alright, I know you like it slow
So for now
Let's just dance, you and I just dance
Yeah, let's dance, this is our last chance
So tonight, yeah, let's dance
@@abhis0011 lovers, dream. By timecop1983. Also you can check out FM.84's album called Atlas.
It's all fantastic but when those drums kick in over that 16th note bass line - it's orgasmic 80s nostalgia.
Lyrically, such a bittersweet lament but musically it's a bittersweet lament for a time I wish I could relive but knowing it's gone forever.
Still my favourite 2.1.2020
This song is special 💫💫💫
I wish I had known of this track in 2019 as it would have played a pivotal role in keeping or as subsequentially happened, after 33 years we went our separate ways and sadly NEVER to reconcile! 🏴
80s style my true love music of my childhood
anos 80 década dos meus 20 anos tempos maravilhosos que saudades
Timecop1983 has a way of creating music that is just as remarkable with or without the vocals. The instrumental version of Let's Talk doesn't lack at all but when you add in the vocals it's still so stunning.
You could actually put my comment in reverse order. Same overall opinion applies :)
Such an iconic video and song. Always coming back here in summer.
Best song 🥰...
Brilliant 👏
How relevant in today's world, 3 simple words to move mountains and heal problems.
"Let's just talk" ❤️
This song is a vibe
Gonna go make out with my best girl on my my motorbike in the rain to this song.
+Uncle Dane Don't get your frosted jeans wet because they won't come off.
Nostalgia for a time I never witnessed...:( :)
About time TimeCop is acknowledged as the best musician of our generation (1973 on)
This. This is the kind of song that brings the power of the 80s. It's beyond good. I'm ready eyes here right Now, and listening this on repeat. This is the epitome of the 80s and what songs should be: as the language of the soul. Strong emotions, powerful delivery, yet mellow to the core. This is a rare gem, and should definitely be bought by everyone.
Bring this kind of music back.
One of the best songs and artists I've heard from this genre of music. It transports me back to the 80's from the very opening...
Nevermind the 80's..... This is timeless :)
I listen to this song and I imagine it's the late 1980s. I'm walking arm-in-arm with a beautiful dark haired girl through the state fair on a warm summer night. Def Leppard's Hysteria is playing softly in the background through the park's loudspeakers. I've never heard of a selfie, but I raise my Polaroid camera and produce a grainy image of the girl standing on the tips of her Converse to give me a kiss on the cheek. I fold the picture in half and slip it into the front pocket of her leather jacket. I ask her to remember me each time she looks at it. She leans closer to kiss me once again, this time on the lips.
Then I wake up and it's 20 fucking 17.
@@francislalhmuakliana766 Summer of 1988. Lived it. Likely would have The Flame by Cheap Trick playing though :)
What a serene piece of music. I love this.
This song is brilliant.
Repeat Repeat Repeat...
Got that Bryan Adams voice! I absolutely love this song!
My favorite synthwave song of all time. It's what hooked me!
Love it man found this type of music about a month ago and i can't get enough. Born in the 80s! don't remember much about it but atleast i can say this was once my time :)
3:51 Daft Punk's first high school romance.

This beautiful female embodies the 80’s hard
I love the 80s thank you FM 84 and the midnight, time cop83 new retro wave or synthwave retro wave I ❤your music.
THANK YOU TIMECOP 1983, YOU NAILED IT AGAIN ❤
This kind of 80's song is meant to transport you deep into your memories. It's like the listener is floating nostalgically in a kaleidoscope of fragments and impressions of when we were younger.
One track I can play nonstop 24\7 and still want to hear it again
So 80s! Thank you!
Thank You, TimeCop.
Das Lied hat tausend mal mehr Gefühl wie dieses ganze Moderne GEJAMMER im Radio und den Charts! Bei dem Lied hat man Sehnsucht, doch man weiß nicht wonach..
The 80s = best decade in music.
Essence of the 80's Love Wave.
88 people who disliked this song have no idea of what real music should sound like 💔
Ohhhh the times when you could see the dislikes… you just killed me with more nostalgia
TC - he just nails that 80s, despondent but hopeful, Lost but Boastful, posing but shrinking away, Pink but yet Purple in the dark of night, 1980s electric synth pop vibe - a la Tangerine Dream, The Human League, Naked Eyes, Howard Jones, or Michael. Carpenter film soundtracks ( with a bit of Kraftwerk maybe thrown in); TimeCop1983 is a genius!
All these men on here, making comments, with their romantical side showing......I absolutely love it.
Menudo temazo.
Goosbumps on my skin.
Nothing like a cute punky girl with short hair...Mary Stuart Masterson in Some Kind of Wonderful was my dream girl...timecop1983 you’re music is flawless!
Art for the ears that goes straight to the heart 🎧💙
The best Synthwave ballad ever!
Tempo bom 😁 Tempo em que se fazia música de verdade!
Stunning track 🥰
Бұл әнге ғашық болып қалдым! 😍😍😍
This is hitting me hard in the chest right now
Thank you for bringing us back in time while staying in today's day and age. This song is so emotionally charged it brings me both joy and tears.
My favourite song ! I don't just listen, I feel every word he says. Singing in passion with josh. 😄
Every time I watch this, it makes me think about those that could of been. But... At the same time, it reminds me of what I did wrong, time and time again. All in all, the power of realizing your mistakes, moving forward into the future and most importantly, moving on, trumps all. I think it's about time I chuck that cassette into the distance myself. Thank you Timecop1983.
Those that ''could have'' been. Not ''could of'' been, there is no such thing as ''could of'' in the English language.
this song touched my heart! It is what I live now.
Reproduz bem a essência dos anos 80.
Thank you for good music 😍😍😍👍😂
Miss 80...😭😭 ..u make it sound like how that was in this beautiful Time 👍👍👍
timecop write his songs from the heart, love love love saludos from mexico
Just 40.000 miles & less to hit the Million marker. Let's go & let's just dance!!!
good track
COViD has really helped this kind of nostalgia and feeling to the farthest reaches of a bottomless pit. But it's tunes like this that bring it right back up again.
I often am glad I'm not 17, 18 anymore due to the life of an adult and all the positives of it - But every once in a while, just for a few moments, something reminds me of those days and transport back to high school not caring about anything in the world. I wouldn't necessarily go back, but I can't say I don't sometimes miss it.
That is really music with emotion. It touch the soul and let me remember, the good days. in a good time. Thanks for that Timecop1983!
Lembra muito a voz do Joe Elliott, vocalista do Def Leppard.
WHOA Bryan Adams is back!
Generasi 80 n 90 suka banget nih lagu ini
A classic timeless jam, well done!
better than expected
Timecop1983, FM-84 and The Midnight are my top 3 the best retro synthwave bands.
Buddy, I’d pick the exact same 3. It was life changing coming across this genre.
Good health to u my friend and greetings from Ireland 👍
I was a budding teenager in mid-80's. It was a time that you can't compare with these days - oh to be a kid again. The older generation is fading away, and they're what made that era what it was!
Same here
You might dig LeBrock.
Don't Forget September 87!!!
