I hear you. I do think it is scripted. I think the bride and groom do this show for the money because they often come off bad. I just wonder though sometimes if employers watch this show = some of the brides and grooms come off really really bad. It is entertainment and probably scripted but you thinkwhy does a goof like Aaron have woman and so many don't.
I don't understand someone knowing what his fiance wants and then intentionally doing EVERYTHING completely different opposite of what he knows she wants. It's just ridiculous. Parts of it seems cruel. He's extremely lucky that went as well as it did because it was nearly an absolute nightmare.
I'm so irritated with this show. He didn't consider his partner at all. Very selfish. I understand it's his wedding too,but not to consider anything that she wanted...not cool.
Some guys don't really know what the brides want...this guy knows what she wants and seems determined to do the opposite. This guy doesn't need a bride...he needs a mother...she is really dealing with 2 children.
This is my dad. You're a bit of an idiot, really. This is a reality tv show... a lot of it is staged by the directors. Both my parents, Aaron and Deirdre, are nearly in their fourties now and they both have a lot more confidence and two more children.
I can't bear to watch the actual process but at the end it turned out beautifully and at the beginning its clear they're already really happy together so this episode went well! It's a huge task for anyone man or woman to make this many decisions about an unfamiliar subject in such a short time. Kudos to them both and much happiness! 🥰
I'm convinced that the casting people deliberately seek out grooms who know nothing about their bride and swear to go against every instinct they do have about what she might want. Like: question 1) Do you solemnly swear to plan this, the day your bride has dreamed of since she was a child as if it's a frat party for your grade school mates? 2) Do you agree to act like the world's most clueless tw@t? Yes to both? You're on!
This is the best episode of Don't Tell The Bride. Every time he would say thats what she wants But; she's not going to get it. I just said to myself " this might be the shortest marriage in history. But... much to my surprise there was a miracle to his madness. Whow! What a surprising wedding day.
Right? I wouldn’t even want to do that activity if I was trying to get in shape. That would not be exercise I would enjoy, let alone doing that right before my wedding day. 🤦♀️
Im soooo glad that MY Aaron is a real grown up. This is my third episode and all these immature guys are a big turn off both for a new show, and in general. But it does make me feel personally very very lucky. The world is full of fools.
What a beautiful wedding the bride looked absolutely beautiful I'm so glad that everything worked out for them I wish them both best wishes full of love& lots of happiness together for such a sweet couple
22:54 well...not quite wrong about knowing her best 24:00 wow could've been absolutely perfect in terms of what Deardra likes 24:30 narrator out here giving me hope and-- 26:20 aaaa 38:00 relief 45:20 ...hey, red! 48:15 well things seem okay 50:20 ayyy
This guys who doing show more appreciation toward the mothers of their children. I realize the show is full of couples where the woman is super competent and the guy takes advantage of that. That is why I appreciate it when an episode does not play to that stereotype. If only more grooms were like Lee was toward Sophie in Season 1: mature, respectful, and someone who realizes love means showing up as a partner. But then, it would not be much of a show, I suppose.
"I don't like strapless on anyone" - the mom has good taste. The bridesmaids dresses were long finally,if they just had a neckline instead of a chestline - or something up top, they were definitely the better of dress choices, not a short dishrag. The flavor of hotel somewhat reminds me of 'the White Sands' on road to Avonlea series.
Is it a thing in other countries for brides to buy their bridesmaids dresses? because every wedding I've ever been a part of its up to me to pay for my own dress since I agreed to be in the wedding. I mean if you can't afford it you say no. This also applies for groomsmen outfits. Also, are they not aloud to put in their own money if they want something more costly? does the show restrict that.
This is my dad. I'm the girl from the video, Annabelle. My dad is a strange man and my mother loves how bizarre she is. They love eachother to bits. Please don't judge by what they show on this, it's all directed really. He loves surprising her.
@@cathorse11Sorry, he really doesn’t portray well in this video. I’m glad he’s not this way now, but how he behaved was really awful. People are reacting to him in this video, no one has any idea who he is now.
So remind me why are they getting married? Did she pressure him to do the show but he'll do it his way. Im confuse with the groom in this episode. Knows what the bride wants but he want to do the opposite. He also forgot that she's a mother, treat for a spa will be lovely. Same for all man. Should treat the mother of their kids something she can relax.
I really have to wonder how much of this show is "staged", "Set up" or extremely influenced by the producers? I know some men can be complete morons and some women can be completely irrational BUT in any case, to honestly think that a person getting married would intentionally try and ruin their partner's wedding day is really unrealistic!? 10,000 pounds isn't enough for someone to want to humiliate themselves, their families, and their new spouse? A rational human being would be ok just getting married at the courthouse rather than being humiliated on national TV... Or is it that the show targets couples who otherwise couldn't afford any type of proper wedding?.
Hello! I'm Annabelle, the little girl from this video. I'm fifteen in a few months. Most of this show is very staged, and it was extremely painful for both my parents, especially my dad. My father, Aaron, is a strange but wonderful man and my mother loves how he surprises her. Basicallly, most things are directed.
@@cathorse11 Hi, Annabelle, I have to say that I'm very glad it's as fake as I thought it would be! B/c I can't imagine most people would find the things the show does as normal. I just really wondered how the people who've agreed to be on the show feel after watching themselves and how it affected the rest of the family and friends and how many of the relationships ended b/c of being on the show?.
That's my dad. Most things on this show is completely influenced by the directors. He's a wealthy, successful business man now, with 3 kids (including me) and a loving wife. We are a happy family and in reality, he is one of the most mature men you will ever meet.
Deidre should keep tabs on his weight or he's going to die of heart failure before the age of 50 - the shape of his body strongly suggests heart problems.
Why does he picks everything he knows she doesn't want. On the other hand, I want a fancy place to get married, very modern and so on, a very elegant dress, stylish and posh... Do keep in mind that there is a budget love, even if this man would consider your wishes, which he doesn't, that would be quite near impossible.
I’m starting to love and respect the Irish. They are absolutely God’s people. Family oriented. Girls are naive and shy and loving to their husbands. Love it!
I grew up in an Irish community. The woman often seemed downtrodden rather than shy. They are family oriented usually because of religious backgrounds.
These are my parents!!!! I'm Annabelle. Fifteen in October. They've both grown so confident and they love eachother to bits to this day!
I love hearing that! They seem like fun and loving people and it must be so fun for you to have this to look back at!
What a great memory for you to have of them! Try to save/download this, if possible, so you have it forever. ❤
So cool!! ❤
It’s wild to me how this show talks about the brides like they are crazy when they seem really sweet
They keep on talking about particular she is; um no. She seems very easy going and grateful.
Right?!
What a terrible way to start out your married life. In the end he tried to do his best, which is a touch scary.
yeah, i can't believe she liked the dress. it didn't fit her in the bust AT ALL. and that cake?! did the groom make the cake himself or what?
I have a love/hate relationship with this show. It frustrates me to no end, but it's still my favorite thing to binge watch 😂

These type of people you don't marry
Some guys don't really know what the brides want...this guy knows what she wants and seems determined to do the opposite. This guy doesn't need a bride...he needs a mother...she is really dealing with 2 children.
That's Mostly ALL the guys in EVERY SHOW 😳😳😳 like I said before; "women SHOULD be running the world"...🙌
Imagine having someone so irresponsible with money for a husband 🙄 dude needs to grow up first before having a family
too late
This is my dad. You're a bit of an idiot, really. This is a reality tv show... a lot of it is staged by the directors. Both my parents, Aaron and Deirdre, are nearly in their fourties now and they both have a lot more confidence and two more children.
Damn he should really consider the bride at least 50% ffs lol

It's a huge task for anyone man or woman to make this many decisions about an unfamiliar subject in such a short time. Kudos to them both and much happiness! 🥰
It is obvious that he is overwhelmed, as I think Anyone would be.
He's not even grown up in his ways. Absolutely needs to grow up and listen when she tells him something.
I'm convinced that the casting people deliberately seek out grooms who know nothing about their bride and swear to go against every instinct they do have about what she might want.

Awee the poor little poppet crying at the door. My heart 😭
What a sweet couple! It's so nice to see a bride who isn't crying and stressed. Well done, Aaron!
The wedding looked fun, and they looked happy
Yeah that's awful
Why would you give your soon to be wife a Bachelorette party like that
Actions speak loud
Right? I wouldn’t even want to do that activity if I was trying to get in shape. That would not be exercise I would enjoy, let alone doing that right before my wedding day. 🤦♀️
I saw someone dressed as a banana and I knew I had to click
I was unsure but wow he really pulled it together at the end 😊
Okay but I kind of love the VW bus
Bohemian vibe. Maybe an outdoor bonfire wedding, lots of glittery lights.
Im soooo glad that MY Aaron is a real grown up. This is my third episode and all these immature guys are a big turn off both for a new show, and in general. But it does make me feel personally very very lucky. The world is full of fools.
Same my husband name Aaron also and he knows what i want been married for 20 years and counting💋
My Aaron and I are coming in just behind you guys at 14 years. We are all soooo blessed to have eachother, for sure!
Right?! I told my husband I've been watching this series and how it's making him look better and better 😂😂😂
They could have had a small wedding with just immediate family and a nice dinner. I don’t understand all these weddings with over 100 people.
HUGE FAN of Chucks, myself.... Have soooooo many pairs! LOVE Chucks on the wedding party....
What a beautiful wedding the bride looked absolutely beautiful I'm so glad that everything worked out for them I wish them both best wishes full of love& lots of happiness together for such a sweet couple
Their daughter is ADORABLE GEORGEOUS
Whew, this episode made me nervous! 😬 😂 All’s well that ends well.. as they say. 👍🏼😊🌻
What a delightful wee face that bride has ,and the dress is lovely on her .
Turned out lovely and interesting. He is madly in love with his two girls.
They should do a “don’t tell the groom” one where the bride does everything! Tht would be cool!!
Agreed
22:54 well...not quite wrong about knowing her best

LOVE the Bride's hair
Surprisingly the wedding turned out better than he described it. 🤣👍🏻
Why would he do all of what she doesn’t want??? A boy being a boy. Grow up
Knowing what you partner would love and deliberately doing the opposite....
This wedding turned out beautiful.
Her dress is actually gorgeous!
Her bridemaids should tell her things are going wrong.
Wow it actually came together nicely and she was happy 😊
Makes me happy
He had me upset for a bit lol
He knows what she wants and then chooses the opposite. Not a good idea
Lovely Bride❤
I was wondering if these men REALLY love love their wives👁👄👁😐
She is now his mother not his wife.
Atleast it ended well wooooow i am happy for them
🥰💯🔥🇧🇼🇩🇪
The dad and his friend made me think of the young offenders
Lets be honest, if they got all grooms who planned the perfect wedding, nobody'd be watching. Some are worse than others though :)
The man should be the head of the family😊
The only way this could work is if the groom really, really knows his bride….and to our surprise, he did.

Or Rodney and Paula. She was so pleased with anything he did.
Lovely wedding :)

He means well and has a big heart.
I wonder why none of these grooms think about renting the wedding dress
He did his best
Got to hand it to him the dress is the hardest bit. TBH I liked the one he picked better than the one she liked.
Aaron was very selfish
That groom is a narcissist, eek!
@@cathorse11 Your dad is lucky to have a kind daughter looking out for him.

I have never heard of bridesmaids buying their own dresses.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat In Brazil the bridesmaid buy it, but you just choose the color, in my wedding was like that
It's part of the show.
This guy ugh!!
He’s a selfish SOB!
poor girl
😂😂😂😂the narrator
She was a better than good sport.
Why did he get to sit and have drinks and she had to do a stupid obstacle course?
She gave him a daughter Hope he GROWS UP
*THIS DUDE-*

The wedding isn't for him.
