This truck really impresses me l am going to grab one for my backyard basher for when I get home during the week. You are so blessed to have such an awesome spot to run your trucks. Really enjoy your videos. Bash on my friend. I use concrete nylon board tape and E6000 adhesive on my 6s basher bodies. So much better than shoe goo and drywall tape. They sell E6000 in tube's for a caulking gun . Best thing I have ever used for my bodies in the 20 years l have been in this hobby.

I had the same exact break you had on the back of your body. I used gorilla tape on the whole inside and it has worked awesome. Great video!
I completely agree with you, this has got to be at least a top 3 release this year. Mine is just SO much fun to drive. And it’s SO inexpensive! It’s my go to when I just wanna have some fun bashing around the yard. I kept mine stock but got a big rock wheelie bar and added a cooling fan. My 2s Lipo gives me like 25-30 minutes drive time. I’ve not bashed mine this hard but so far I’ve broken nothing! I love this thing. Great video.

When buying supplies to reinforce the bodies on my 8s outcast exb i saw some wire mesh drywall patches. They had multiple sizes up to a 12x12. I picked up a few. I used them in what i thought was the higher stress areas. It's been over 3 months and the body has taken major abuse and still perfect. I think that would work great on Gorgon. Especially around the back where it seems prone to tearing. Only downside is it cost $50 to do the Outcast and it adds a few ounces more than just the tape.
That's a common hack people do, go over it with shoe goo or epoxy for and even stronger body.
@@cd-pu5uv no. Not the tape and glue. This is wire mesh with thin fiber cover. I glued it like you do the tape. The wire is crazy strong and surprisingly flexible. It's similar to the wire mesh on window screens but thinner and more flexible.

Trying to figure out how/why you're considering this the "truck of the year". I'm aware of several people having reported the chassis snapping in half where the motor is located...evidently, the chassis' 'weak point'. Honestly, is to bad, considering the great price & looks of it.
? I watch all these crazy bashing videos try for fill the craziness as they all turn to junk without investing money , I haven’t seen one person break their chassis even trying for views , even if you have friends who have I guarantee they’ll break anything as we all can . Bottom line is this is the cheapest way by far to do what 700$ do and maintain as well .
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw Two TH-camrs have reported breaking it. I can't remember who...but, if you search enough, you'll find them. I know it costs somewhat more, but I see the new Losi 1/18 Grave Digger & Son-Uva Digger to be better vehicles. The chassis appears to be better (and more realistic). Hopefully, we might have a few honest head-to-head comparisons. While 'cheaper' can definitely be nice (especially where the bank account is concerned), it's not always 'better'.
I've put my gorgon through hell ,with a 3300 motor in it ,no damage at all , guys must be crazy , what ? Drive your $200 RC off a cliff and exspect nothing to break !? I'm not gunna worry about it , what's a chassis cost ? 29 cents 😂😂💪👍
I've seen ppl destroy anvils with feathers. Just depends on how hard 1 abuses whatever it is.
@@old-rcplane-phart I admit that the probability of breaking the Gorgon chassis is pretty darn low...but, it's still higher than most others. As for your anvil-feather statement, that, I highly doubt...you have a higher probability of breaking an anvil with your finger, and not even that's going to happen (but, your comment did, at least, give me my "morning chuckle").
