Cool memories for your son. My dad passed this summer and I have great memories of my dad bringing me on the road in the summer in the 70s when he was on sales trips.
Hi Justin, I’ve been watching you since you started this journey and admire your discipline and dedication. As someone who drove a w900 in the northeast, this is a daily occurrence. Old timer pro tip. Get real familiar with sliding your tandems. Not before your back, but after your angled in the hole. This opens a lot more room up front. Hopefully you’ll never have to encounter this again, but just in case. Love the Trucks, the cars, the family and your tenacity.Merry Christmas and may you have a very blessed 2024
You handled it like a pro Justin. I know we want to raise all sorts of heck with em but it dont do any good, just makes a bad situation even worse. Hope everything continues to pick up and you can find better loads. Keep On Keepin On ol buddy and God Bless...
Hey thanks for the response to my comment a could vids ago. Now i see where your coming from. I just have no idea how it all figures out when your looking for loans and i truly appreciate you explaining that
Mr Justin, you said a positive thing about work ethics. People don't care about integrity and responsibility anymore. Lazy and having the get over spirit employees will always keep the good employees with the burden. Good management will keep everyone accountable.
I know you do the spot market and go to different places ,I was leased to a carrier so we had a lot of regular accounts. The way I dealt with delays was if became a normal thing I would refuse to go to a place like that it was the only way I could deal with it. I simply refused to let somebody waste my time it's not worth the stress and when you think about it they are reducing your potential income.
In the '70's when I was a driver / salesman for Budweiser I was over weight every day I left the warehouse. I sold SO much Bud in the N. GA Mountains that somedays I would have to come back to Athens and load up again to finish my route. Hard work but I was rolling in the money at 22 to 28 years old. Back then we got paid per case sold.
OH yes, you have been there before. You picked up a load of appliances to drop off in South Carolina by you. If I remember the unload was a tight Squeeze. That is my neighborhood, you have overnighted at that walmart behind the QT before.
Hey J, the girls and I been cooped up at the house getting over this bug. Throat cough and nausea. Sound familiar? Nasty stuff. Figured perfect time to reach out to you after watching you a few months. Just gotta say I love you and your family. I respect the moves you make especially how you and T are bringing up your family. Those boys have a bright future ahead of them. I’m a family man myself and believe we think a like. More people like you and me, this world would be a much better place. Keep doing what your doing! T’s and p’s for you my friend!
Thanks for calling out the bad brokers , keep up the good work…. I dont understand why landstar didnt just drop his trailer then pull out and give you more room .. he was empty anyway … oh well , it all worked out
"TEMPLE OF DOOM" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Y'all Truckers can't catch a break 😢. Justin, I doubt I'd be able to make that turn in my 4-wheeler 😂😂😂. Hope the nightmare ends soon for you 🤞. Praying you get a load for the wkend and Not with CH Robinson 😮. Thank goodness that Lady gave you a different bay number or you'd be camping out in the middle of all that chaos 😮. Try and enjoy the rest of your night and safe travels home. God bless you and gnite ✨.
I would’ve dropped that trailer and told them I’m going to the gym to workout. Call me when it’s done. I always do this and it seems like they always quick to call. I mean no longer than 2 hours. I be in Planet Fitness getting my workout on and as soon as I’m in the zone they call or text saying my trailer is done being loaded. I finish my workout, take a good shower then go pickup my trailer. I swear reverse psychology ALWAYS works. When you complain about them taking too long they move even slower. I’ve learned to use my time wisely out here over the road
i saw a similar situation at one of the warehouses thats near were i live thats also in the same area i deliver in and Wednesday they were full of semi's with semi's on top of semi's pretty much and it took them till last night to today to get most of them gone
I was on a CH Robinson load in ft worth, after waiting 4 hours waiting to load I got frustrated and canceled load and went home. The CH Robinson rep didn't blame. US cold in Ft worth is a nightmare.
My favorite with the shippers/receivers is when they tell you they’ll load/ unload in a little while. I always ask, what’s a little while? Because their little while and my little while, have different meanings…….these new facilities are being built for the newer trucks to access, with tighter steering radius’s ..
I used to take my lunch in Livermore next to a warehouse and watch the truckers fight to get into the docks with 53’ trailers it would take some close to an hour. There was this one guy that had cracked the code and would get in there in one shot.
if you showed up 8 hours late for an unload, they would hurt you hard but they can screw you over on time all the time and its ok... because someone will always take there loads for change

I was reading that it doesnt take much to be a load broker. Did you all decide not to pursue that? I just thought if you all had a in house broker not only could you keep your truck running more plus making more per load but could broker out loads and make mobey from that as well
Justin God bless you how to deal with the frustration of them loading the truck for 6 hours then you're dealing with the frustration to get the road off of the truck cuz you can't get into the right dock bay because they don't know how to park trailers that are emptied you're a hard worker I hope you can find a load going back home have a good night

First time i have watched your vids. This would not happen here in Aus as the truck is never booked untill the road is ready to be shipped. If not then we are paid by Waiting time for not just the driver or owner but the whole unit . The responsibilty is in the shipper here whether a Comapny or anindividual ir make no difference. I would have simple asked for a name explained that i donr get paid dropped the pan and gone home and ring when ready then apick up.
