Justin, that whole mess on both ends is due to terrible top down failure of corporate management! What do you bet that the CEO will still get his outlandish and undeserved bonus!

Totally agree - the country needs new leadership. By the time we get new leadership if the right leader it will take years before the country is somewhat restored, then comes in the next bad leader and fudge it up all again.
The country is getting all run down, and it starting to look like a third world country. We need change and fast.

So very sorry,Justin.I was a tractor-trailer driver local for 30 years till I was hit by a drunk driver at 80 mph in my personal car which ended my driving career. Most places just don't care how long it takes them and unfortunately it's only getting worse.Wishing you and your wonderful family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024!

Hi Justin, I’ve been watching you since you started this journey and admire your discipline and dedication. As someone who drove a w900 in the northeast, this is a daily occurrence. Old timer pro tip. Get real familiar with sliding your tandems. Not before your back, but after your angled in the hole. This opens a lot more room up front. Hopefully you’ll never have to encounter this again, but just in case. Love the Trucks, the cars, the family and your tenacity.Merry Christmas and may you have a very blessed 2024

I know you do the spot market and go to different places ,I was leased to a carrier so we had a lot of regular accounts. The way I dealt with delays was if became a normal thing I would refuse to go to a place like that it was the only way I could deal with it. I simply refused to let somebody waste my time it's not worth the stress and when you think about it they are reducing your potential income.

In the '70's when I was a driver / salesman for Budweiser I was over weight every day I left the warehouse. I sold SO much Bud in the N. GA Mountains that somedays I would have to come back to Athens and load up again to finish my route. Hard work but I was rolling in the money at 22 to 28 years old. I would’ve dropped that trailer and told them I’m going to the gym to workout. Call me when it’s done. I always do this and it seems like they always quick to call. I mean no longer than 2 hours. I be in Planet Fitness getting my workout on and as soon as I’m in the zone they call or text saying my trailer is done being loaded. I finish my workout, take a good shower then go pickup my trailer. I swear reverse psychology ALWAYS works. When you complain about them taking too long they move even slower. I’ve learned to use my time wisely out here over the road

My favorite with the shippers/receivers is when they tell you they’ll load/ unload in a little while. I always ask, what’s a little while? Because their little while and my little while, have different meanings…….these new facilities are being built for the newer trucks to access, with tighter steering radius’s ..

Everybody pays for this.. inefficient companies tie-up trucks at the dock causing trucking rates to increase. Cost eventually has to get passed back to consumer (it's not absorbed by any one entity). I've retired from senior supply chain management at Staples, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, Advance Auto, Autopart International. I used to try to drive operational efficiencies and therefore negotiate better freight rates (less time at dock should mean better rates) I've seen the waste by shippers & receivers. The large trucking companies increase their rates, but the independent truckers like Justin just get screwed because he cannot pass his costs along. that's why Owner Operators are dinosaurs! America pays for all these inefficiencies! It's getting worse.

Oh we been in tight spot's like that before and Jesse's manage to get the trailer in the loading dock. And we have hauled like one small pallet of product and that paid i think like $$$$$$$ and we did not know what it was. And we have a device that alert's us if the product is illegal contraband. All the driver's have them and so far only one went off when he was making a delivery for a law enforcement agency. And they was trying to teach there K9's to sniff and i think they had to go back to training. I spotted one of our driver's in the video and he is a loyal driver and a really good friend. And i screen shot his rig and sent that to him. And he call's me like WTH and was like i am home. And i said ha ha got you on a youtubers video and he was like who's. And i told him and he was like dam. And he goes hell u guy's was on FSC Trucking and i said hey just my voice when i said this (Enjoy The Show Boy) and Steve got a kick out of it. And my husband was coming form the sleeper to the cab at that time. And Steve i do remember passing you at that time i said Enjoy The Show boy's. We are home went shopping earlier today. And Jesse is waiting for a dear friend of my Grandma's to replace her brakes and rotor's. The longest we had to wait to get unloaded was like 13 hour's cause they had to wait for the manager and supervisior to show up cause they had no idea what the product is. And they let us use the bathroom's and take showers. They let us have the Wifi passcode but we was fine pairing our cellphone to the smart tv to watch movies for free on youtube.

First time i have watched your vids. This would not happen here in Aus as the truck is never booked untill the road is ready to be shipped. If not then we are paid by Waiting time for not just the driver or owner but the whole unit . The responsibilty is in the shipper here whether a Comapny or anindividual ir make no difference. I would have simple asked for a name explained that i donr get paid dropped the pan and gone home and ring when ready then apick up. We do also have individual airline locks so when in a Bay it can not be mooved by any other driver. . Good luck gladed i dont work over there that is rediculous.

You guys need a trucking union, these company should be fine for holding up your trailer, people have mouth, bills and truck payment to paid, they need to be charged 100 dollars and hour for storage fees. then they will stop holding you drivers up.

When I was truckin I would have been pissed if I had to put up with that kind of wait. Owner op or company driver… can’t get miles sitting. They should have more respect for human beings. That’s ridiculous.
