idk why but daylight lady and night knight seem like a couple to me, with Sunset being their teenage daughter, they also gave me royal family vibes, I loved how cool and unique each designs looks! I love these types of videos, also I would absolutely love a video on you making one of those fantasy dresses, that would be super cool!
as for personalities, daylight lady looks super motherly, nurturing and sweet, night knight seems more like a diplomat, elegant and maybe a little bit stoic? Sunset looks cheerful, and elegant, like a combination of both daylight and night knight lol

The name ideas that popped into my head are: Aerys (day girl), Callisto (night girl) and Solaris (sunset girl). Maybe these might work?

I really wish you would've added a dawn based girl. In a way the colors of morning are different than those of the afternoon and the definitely have a different feel.

I absolutely adore all of them but my favorite is obviously the sunset girl. In case you're looking for names, the day girl could be Cielle, the night one could be Nocturne and the sunset one could be Aurora. Just my ideas tho. Love them anyways ^^
Going off of names I saw from others, I'd say
Day: Cielo/Ciela (see•ello/a)
Night: Nyx (nicks)
Sunset/Dusk: Diana (dee•anna)
i feel like Diana would be better for night because Diana is the Roman goddess of the moon, which is heavily associated with the night

ah, I forgot to mention names ideas, daylight lady looks like a Deya (because it kinda rhymes with daylight, lol) , night knight looks lika a Nyx and for Sunset I would pick Eliana (meaning: daughter of the sun) or Dusk
I have to say I love seeing your drawings of more heavily set bodies. You draw them so beautifully. I became very sick 2 years ago. Having been mostly bedbound and on lots of medications/hormones, I've gained a lot of weight. Your drawings have really helped me still feel beautiful in my new body. So thanks ❤❤❤

I definitely think that the sunset girl should be named Rae because of the rays of sunlight shooting up into the shy creating all the different arrays of color.

A lot of my blending is about creating a hard edge for the top/ridge of a cloud and a soft edge as it feathers out. You can see me use this a lot on the sunset girl's skirt. I also try not to blend too much so that there's some paint strokes still in there and it just looks kinda soft and floaty :3
I could definitely do a cloud tutorial at some point if that's something people would wanna see!

The way they said "look at the sky, it's a beautiful day today, " as I look outside and see it pouring. We only get two seasons here, pouring rain and summer.
So gorgeous! The third one was giving such a great feel of classic 80's she-ra and sailor moon. Both formative cartoons of my childhood. I'm always a sucker for moon symbolism and the purple colors of the night sky.

Night's teleportation sounds low precision: able to land on the right city, but unreliable to teleport across a room with. Many teleporters are limited by difficulty aiming outside line of sight, but hers is sort of the opposite. Interesting.

The daylight sky magical girl gives me elegant, kind, welcoming vibe. But I think that she could also have a temper like when the clouds start to turn grey and storm. The night seems like she would be stern and cold, but have a soft side. She would always be cool-headed though and never loose her temper. The sunset feels like she would be younger and more immature and unwise, but she would be the strongest of them all. In the end I see them as being siblings with their parents maybe being the sun and the moon who don’t have much time for them so they have to take care of each other especially sunset. This may seem kind of stereotypical of what the skies are like, but I think it fits in this case.

I do like the names Cielo (spanish for sky and often used as a name too) or maybe Celeste for the daytime sky character, Aurora for the sunset character, and Layla since it means night (or Selene, that name is pretty too) for the night sky character. They seem like they would all be a really tight group of friends. Given sunset’s powers I feel like she would try to set things up for a surprise attack for the other two.

Just in case you or someone else would want to play them as dnd characters with similar powers to the ones described, my brain started assigning them classes immediately when they were being described so here you go:
Day: Paladin Oath of the Ancients (Healer and Tank!! Also the ancients are most nature and light related)
Night: Conjuration Wizard
(As the strategist she’d have to be intelligent, so a wizard would fit. Wizards can learn teleportation spells, which are all in the conjuration school, and at 6th level they get a class ability which allows them to teleport; including switching with allies!!)
Dusk: Archfey Warlock (there’s other options, but I liked the idea of this one most 🙆 Go for a Illusion based class and subclass! You can re-flavour that to light and shadow manipulation easily)
And they are all Air Genasi ☁️
Personally, when I imagine sky-themed magical girls (specifically of the youthful kind, like tweens and early teens such as CardCaptor Sakura, Lyrical Nanoha, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and perhaps even a bit of Sailor Moon to name a few), I'd picture the following character design elements:
- Daytime sky: Overly-cheerful and energetic blonde-haired ditz with the power of fire and light, and an outfit based off of a Japanese school uniform with elements of a cheerleader's outfit added on (like Kim Possible), and with teal, indigo, white, and creamy yellow for the general color scheme.
- Nighttime sky: Serious yet shy cool-headed silver-haired strategist with the power of darkness and illusion, and an outfit based off of a mix between a Western-style girl's school uniform (such as the dress that Hermione Granger wears in the Harry Potter movies) and an old-fashioned frilly dress (like what Alice wears from Disney's Alice in Wonderland), perhaps with a witch's hat included (like with Marisa Kirisame from Touhou), and perhaps with a big pair of glasses, and with violet, indigo, magenta, and white for the general color scheme.
- Sunrise/sunset sky: Flirtatious, cunning, and manipulative red-haired jokester with the power of healing, empathy, charming, and animal summoning, and an outfit based off of flowing show dresses, especially something like a seductive flamenco dress from Spain, perhaps with low-heeled pump shoes with ballet-slipper-like ribbons that extend up her lower legs, and with orange, yellow, fuchsia, and indigo for the general color theme.
- Cloudy/stormy sky: Headstrong and easily angered black-haired hothead with the power of lightning, wind, rain, and fog, and an outfit based off of a qipao, or Chinese dress (like Chun-Li from Street Fighter), mixed with the dress of a Japanese miko, or shrine maiden, and with green, turquoise, gray, and yellow for the color scheme.
I read the title and immediately went "Hell yes"

Ok٫ so you probably already chose names of or the girls (given how this video was two years ago 😅) But I wanted to try anyways :)
Day girl: Araceli means "altar of the sky" in Spanish٫ and it sounds so beautiful for this character and it sounds magical but still positive
Night girl: Atiena means "Guardian of the night" your character does give out a guardian vibe٫ and the name sounds both mysterious and wise
Sunset girl: Sandya is a Hindi name meaning "sunset time" and it feels like it could suit her pretty well

night girl is probably the most introverted (since the moon is less bright n prominent than the sun) i think shed be more like,,, serious and definitely the smart one? idk it makes sense to me
and then the sunset girl needs to like taking pictures. that just,,,it needs to happen. shes probably more spontaneous than the other two, and her interests change all the time. i feel like itd be kinda funny if she hated change though. like if she was super inflexible,,since the sunset is kinda the opposite YKNOW?? anyway thats rlly long sorry 🏃♀️🏃♀️

They all turned out great, and I would buy the prints if I could. In regards to making that fantasy dress, I would love to see it. Especially since I’ve kind of started falling down the rabbit hole of dress making and similar things. In the end you should just do what you want even if it doesn’t get many views or likes.

I don't know if it's the closed eyes, but I feel like the day girl would be the type to keep secrets "for the better of the group". Like how you can't look directly into the sun, you can't really tell what's going on in her head sometimes. The night girl seems like the type who tries really hard to put up a cool and serious face but actually be immature. And the afternoon girl might randomly say disconcerting things, or something that would make most people do a double-take just to see their reactions (like Sonia Nevermind from Danganronpa 2 but on purpose)
Ngl daylight gives me Baya vibes, night sky lady gives me Lucinda vibes (plus then nickname Lucy) and sunset gives me Autumn vibes. As u can see I give names based on vibes 😌👌🏻
