The Korean title of the song is Son Ogong, which is the Korean name of the Chinese character Son Wukong (Japanese: Son Goku) in the story Journey to the West, which is the inspiration for the anime Dragon Ball Z. And in this song Seventeen references both Journey to the West and DBZ

seventeen has 13 members cuz of the 13 mebmers + 3 main units (hiphop, performance, vocal) + that all of them are one group so 1. they have a lot of songs w different genres, i could recommend u songs according to ur preferences if u want to! i think it would be good to watch their killing voice video first so that u have an overview of what they have done so far.

@@Preludetv ok so this is gonna be very long. from the hiphop unit there is: trauma, un haeng il chi (live stage since its an unreleased song), lotto remix, monster, i cant run away, fire & back it up. some of these are really upbeat and others are a bit more calm, generally the live stages are amazing and worth watching! from the performance unit: lilili yabbay, swimming fool, wave, moonwalker & i dont understand but i luv u. from the vocal unit: hug, yawn, habit, dont listen in secret, imperfect love, dust & say yes. btw there are also 2 special subunits but they dont have a lot of releases, the svt leaders (3 leaders from each of the units; songs: change up, cheers) and bss aka booseoksoon (the name is deprived from the 3 names of the members in this unit; songs: just do it, fighting) but this will all be properly explained in the guide. also, if u need the links to certain performances please just ask! (or i could send them to ur instagram account or so if u prefer)
Seventeen debuted in 2015 so they actually have 117 songs so far as a group. Killing Voice is an excellent sample of SOME of their songs.

One of my favorite things about this song is the fact that the suspended drop is there to give one of the members time to enter and shine since he was injured and couldnt be on stage the whole time.
Since the members produce, compose, and choreograph their songs its just an example of how they take care of each other quietly.
That was my favorite part of the video! Definitely was a good drop I didn’t expect and to know the reason is also very cool!
funny you mention uzi lol, the last guy who sang/rapped, his name is Woozi (pronounced uji or ooji) he's actually like the main producer and songwriter for the group. he helped produce and write basically all if not almost all their songs. and he's incredible. i reccomend Getting Closer, it's one of my favorite songs of theirs, or Left And Right which is another favorite of mine plus it's my favorite music video of theirs because it shows kinda how they are on a regular basis, goofy and chaotic lol. i'm glad y'all had fun w the song! also! y'all should also listen to Rainy Days by V from BTS and/or Haegum by Agust D/SUGA of BTS :)

( 13 members + 3 units +1 team = 17) That's why they're called SEVENTEEN
1- Hip-Hop(rappers) unit has 4 members.
2- Vocal(singers) unit has 5 members.
3- Performance(Dancers/choreographers) unit has 4 members.
Though all 13 members can sing, dance and rap but they prefer the unit system so that each member has an area of expertise!

Seventeen Killing Voice
One of my favorite k pop groups. They do their own choreography, some of the most intricate chorros in k pop, especially if one considers they are thirteen members. They produce their music as well. They are all rounders. I guess try Rock With You, HOT, or the dance practice (there is no video) for Don Quixote. This guys are absolutely amazing.

i don't know what you know about kpop but seventeen came from a small company and built their fame and today with almost 10 years of group has been growing more and more in each release. They were created together and today they are already a real family (the oldest member “scoups” is 28yo and the youngest “dino” has just turned 25 ), I highly recommend watching the "KILLING VOICE" and the songs "hot" "left & right" and their debut "adore u" is very remarkable the difference in production but the songs have always been incredible
