About 1 million people travel to New York from upstate, Connecticut and New Jersey every morning. Travelling inside the city is the smallest part of their commute, the biggest part for many of them is done by car
They are ridiculous , how bout the people who work and study in manhattan who live in the other boroughs?!!!!!!! The MTA is ridiculous unsafe , unhealthy and prices are high. This is coming from a NYC resident who has seen the MTA as the last option to move around in NYC.
No city in the entire world can even come close to how bad the traffic is in Los Angeles. This is a known fact. LA is infamous for their traffic. I used to be able to see my exit when I got on the freeway and it would take me 45 minutes just to get to the exit, not where I was going, but just the exit. And you cannot live without a car in LA and I don’t mean as a status symbol. I mean you cannot survive without a car in LA. At least in other cities you have alternatives.

the city applies bike lanes, buss lanes, outdoor dining. now its the drivers fault? congestion pricing is a money grab and the ability for them to record our faces.

All those thing lessen traffic you just have to think less people on the road going on public transportation means less congestion and making walkable stuff like smaller roads outdoor dining making more corner stores means people can walk 5 mins to get to stuff instead of going on the road will lessen congestion cause A city will always fit more people than cars because we are smaller then cars so making it so people don't need a car to get to places will lessen congestion because we wouldn't need cars

Getting people out of cars into bikes and buses is good for traffic
