Bravissimi tutti, la flautista in primis. Mi domando che flauto sta suonando: un tenore in C o un flauto di voce in G. La partitura originale (per violino) prevede varie escursioni verso il basso, che Sheng Fang Chiu risolve mirabilmente
This is excellent playing, at a very high level, and I like everything about it, but one detail puzzles me: is playing from memory a new normal in professional recorder playing? at the beginning the early music movement meant rebellion against many things that were taken for granted in classical music, one of them being playing from memory. Many generations were trained without even care about that ability... and now it looks like it's resurfacing. I wonder why, and is there any historical evidence that playing from memory wasn't just an invention of the romantic period?
Not sure if it's a construct of the Romantic era; but I do know that several of the first generation recorder revivalists, most notably Michala Petri, have advocated for performing from memory.
@@peternappi5220 Michala Petri doesn't always perform from memory, and in her youth she defined herself in an interview as a "modern recorder player" instead of a "historical recorder player" so I'm not sure she can be a good example in this case.
What brand of recorder is that? All wood with the plastic mouthpiece
Different wood
Ivory mouthpiece i'd say
Was für eine Blockflöte wird gespielt?
Es ist eine Bressan von Stephan Blezinger.
Thank you. Beautiful instrument and sublime performance.
J'aurai préféré voir le jeu de l'artiste. Pourquoi pas un plan fixe?
Maravilloso. Te descubrí en este vídeo hace ya tiempo: th-cam.com/video/LB9USv8VYvA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0Jy8W_s3T0QSt-78
