Goats Inspire Growth in Jordan | A Giving Machines Story

The Giving Machines, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, are vending machines with a twist-instead of buying something for themselves, people can donate a needed item to someone else through a local or international charity. In this case, the Church partnered with Lifting Hands International to provide goats to Syrian refugees displaced by war in their home country. The milk provided by the goat can nourish their family or help them start a business selling goat milk and cheese.
The Giving Machines are part of Light the World, a worldwide movement that encourages people all over the world to join in sharing their light and the light of Jesus Christ with others during the Christmas season.
