Nice review. I really liked them when I used them. I have heard that they are the same paint as the Prima Marketing Watercolors and that Mungyo makes them for Prima.
@@niazhannanwatercolors I read on a few blogs (frugal crafter, urban Sketching world) that they are a similar texture when dry in pans, same color selection available, paints behave the same, same pastel colours also etc but I don't think there has been definitive proof. I think Jane Davenport are the same also. I think they are all good fun paints for use in sketchbooks.
first video i watched cuz bought the set for my mom. that thing you painted at the end. i thought it was a disaster at first. then you turned that thing around and it all made sense!! did not expect the final result
Thank you for The vídeo! They are the same as prima marketing and Jane Davenport paints. It's because they are the same pigments as provided by prima's paints, have the same weird gritty texture when the pans dries, and all of these paints are made in Korea. If you check the pans, even the plastic used to pour the paint cakes are the same! My only complaining with this box is the addition of black and white. Could have exchanged for a burnt umber and a pink/magenta.
Can more pans fit in the middle space? Is the size of the pans the same as other normal pans like Van Gogh's? I want to change some pans and add others to complete the set, as I miss some colors.
Loose empty pans sold in packs don't fit lengthwise, you you have to fit them horizontally, bit then the are loose. You can fix that by sticking magnetic tabe at the bottom. Smaller half pans like that comes with Winsor Newton and Royal Talens pans fit perfectly lengthwise. I haven't been able to fit full pans of any configuration there...
@@deendraws9570 more premium = better quality. They mean the same thing. In what way? More pigmented, less chalky, less filler etc. The same ways that any watercolour is better quality than another.
I have read other reviews that claim they are not light fast. I bought a set several months ago and really like them. In that I have not had them that long I cannot vouch for their light fastness. They blend fairly well and I like the way the colors appear once they dry on the paper. So far, with the exception of the black, they are all transparent. They are now my go to palette.
Thanks for the brief review. I'm thinking about buying this set. 🙌
Its a goood one!
I dint know you were an indian artist. Untill i saw ruppees. Great sketch.
Haha thanks
I bought the set of 24 from your last recommendation. Very nice paint set and very reasonably priced. Thank you!
Its a pleasure!

Is Menorah good watercolor paper?
Yes its good in the budget segment
Are these cakes available separately? I mean when they are used up can we buy a single cake seperately?
Ya you can buy them separately (other brands like ds, schminche) but i don't know about Mungyo
Are they lightfast?
It gets a rating of ||| when it comes to lightfastness i.e poor (according to ASTM)
Brustro or mungyo. Which is best bro
Mungyo
MUNGYO? 日本でも買えるのかしら・・・ITOYAに行ってみよう
Either Mission Gold or Holbein are better than these. You can get them easily in Japan.
Are they better than van gogh?
Vangogh feels more premium than mungyo
Premium in which way ?
I'm askin quality wise, i dont care bout fancy shit!
