Runes: Fleet footwork: Varus is immobile so it helps you kiting. Nullifying orb: To survive. Bone plate/Second wind: Depends on enemy composition. The green rune that gives you tenacity and resistance when immobilized. Hunter: Genius: This rune gives you ah on objects, which is so broken on items with lifeline and guardian angel because it reduces the comedown around 30%-33%. Speaking in real time, that rune reduces by 70 seconds the cooldown of GA and 30 seconds of lifeline passive EVERYTIME they are proc. As you can see, none of my runes are damage runes, because varus base damage is way to high, the on hit effect on second ability and the blight stacks are op, you just need to survive in order to apply so much sustain damage. Items: lifesteal boots. Immortal shieldbow (always first after boots) And here it gets situational. Enemies got damage reduction ( ar, mr or things like alistars ultimate)? You build rift maker which is so good on varus because of true damage, life, AP, AH and omnivamp. Enemies are just getting HP without damage reduction? You can build rift maker because varus already does damage based on max HP and scales with AP (op) but you can also build BOTRK and/or essence reaver (it makes your abilities do 25% more damage and gives AH, and varus abilities do damage based on max HP when procking the 2nds passive) And that's all for damage items. You can build those four items for damage and you are perfectly fine closing the build with guardian angel or you can build the same build replacing BOTRK for wits end. Summoners: Ghost: For kitting, essential to make you stay alive and keep doing AA to apply all of the on hit that varus has with passive, second ability passive and items and procking blight stacks. Flash: Standard. The playstyle: First of all. ULTIMATE, SUMMONERS AND ITEMS ARE FOR SURVIVING, NOT FOR ENGAGE, that's something that a lot of varus do and I hate because they keep dying. I thought about this a while ago when I had to lane vs a Baron Lane fiddle, trying to catch him can be extremely annoying if u are a melee champ, I didn't ended up liking it because once you catch him he's done, but in dragon lane it seems a different story, your E is so strong and you make the enemy unable to trade, I think if Draven decided to freeze the Lane it would be impossible to Twitch to gain experience and you would be able to kill him and stomp the lane harder, because after he was half HP it was just impossible to him to get closer lol, gonna first try it on ranked to get flammed ty uncle broken

Mages in bot, off meta mids and Jgs, all that no problem. But the second a support picks Ashe support, everyone insult and troll.
How I miss the old fiddle on PC. Never played the rework even on wild rift. But it made wonders on my mastery points by playing fiddle support and fiddle the middle (never liked playing jg back then)
Ngl, in PC thats fine... but no HS for other heros is an issue because its such a busted item... Giving it to Sett, Mundo, Shen, etc and not giving to anybody else would be incredibly toxic. We just simply dont have enough damage outside specific champs (Brand, Vayne, Varus) to actually deal with these massive health pools without dying absurdly fast to a "tank" who becomes an Assassin with Heartsteel and Hydra. So if Riot changes it to melee only, they definitely need to implement more changes to allow us to actually fight back vs these tanks or we will have a problem.... They can face tank an entire team without taking damage.
Xayah looks super fun with this build. Can you explain your comment about not using abilities when you have more than 2 feathers active? Do you just mean since she has max 5 theres no point to add more before recalling them? Also, again suggesting Lilia support!
Hello my friend! See the feathers thing after using 1 skill? Every skill gives ya 3 stacks, my recommendation is auto attack once before using another skill cause it caps at 5 charges :)

There is a guy on PC who mains Tank Twitch that has hit challenger with it in multiple seasons. But instead of Heartsteel he goes Runaan’s, Black Cleaver, then Titanic and Jak Sho as core items. Then on-hit items depending on matchup.
Heart steal gold value is unacceptable it too good of item with a cheap price so essentially if you are going tank and you buy any other 1st item that is not hearsteal you are inting the game making their play rate very low
