Namco games from this era are really lavish in the graphics. Check out Legend of Valkyrie, Mirai Ninja, Dragon Saber... like Phelios, all on the Namco System2 board.
Just finished playing the Genesis port of this, and while it's a valiant effort, it doesn't even come close to this. Super impressive visuals for the time. Also seems a bit less challenging/more fair than the Genesis port? Anyways, nice vid!
