গানটির রেকর্ডিং এবং ভিডিওর মান খুবই ভালো হয়েছে। হয়তো মারমা গানের এভাবে উপস্থাপনা এটাই প্রথম, অন্তত: আমার বেলায়। শিল্পীবৃন্দকে অনেক ধণ্যবাদ। একই সুরে এবং কথায়, যতদুর মনে পড়ে, আমি গানটি প্রথম শুনেছিলাম মাহ্রাচিং চৌধুরী মালতির কন্ঠে বাংলা বেতারের পাহাড়ীকা অনুষ্ঠানে। তারও আগে নাকি স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে গাওয়া হতো, তাই এ গানের শিল্পী মালতি হলেও গীতিকার এবং সুরকার নিয়ে ভিন্ন মত আছে। এ গানটিতে মংথুই মিথুই অদল বদল করা যায়, এটাই হয়তো এ গানের সৌন্দর্য। তবে মূল গানটিতে হয়তো মংথুই মিথুইকে উদ্দেশ্য করে গেয়েছিল ।

ধন্যবাদ আপনার কমেন্টের জন্য। মালতী চৌধুরী মাহলাচিং এ গানের মূল শিল্পী, গীতিকার এবং সুরকার (১ম প্যারা বা স্থায়ী প্রচলিত সুরে হলেও অন্তরা তার নিজের করা)।
তিনি প্রথম বাংলা বেতারে, ১৯৭৬ সালের ১৩ই আগস্ট গানটি গেয়েছেন এবং রাঙ্গামাটি উপজাতীয় সাংস্কৃতিক ইনস্টিটউটে তাকে গীতিকার এবং সুরকার হিসেবে যথাযথ সম্মানী দিয়ে এগানটি নথিভুক্ত আছে। তাই স্থানীয় ভাবে এগানটি এর আগে শুনে থাকবার কোন সুযোগ নেই। স্থায়ী বা ১ম প্যারা যা কিনা প্রচলিত সুরে করা হয়েছিল, সে সুরে অন্য কোন লোকগান শুনে থাকতে পারেন। কিন্তু ‘এলো মংথুই’ গানের সত্ত্বাধিকারী মালতী চৌধুরী।

I can see how charadaw u chaw hla gave us many master pieces. Although it was later converted to "plain sa" tone but it was originally created with so much love and dedication. অসাধারণ সঙ্গীতায়োজন আর গলাটা মায়াবী। মনে কানে হৃহৃদয়ে লেগে আছে গানটা। গতকাল রাত থেকে অসংখ্যবার শুনেছি। আমি আমার প্রিয়তমার জন্য গানটা কাভার করবো। আশাকরি আমি মারমা দিয়ে গান করলে সে অবাক হয়ে যাবে। তার প্রথম শর্ত আমাকে মারমা ভাষা শিখতে হবে। আহঃ আমি যদি মারমা ভাষা বুঝতে পারতাম!
