    Id recommend avoiding the sharper edges and letting the filler primer cover those it will make the sharp edges dull

    So I’m printing a iron man mask but I printed the face plate laying down it’s that ok or should I reprint

    • @Masterplays-dg9gv

      So should I reprint the face plate cause everyone that I’ve seen doing it have the face plate standing up instead of laying down

      It depends on how well the supports came off, usually if you rough sand it and apply some filler (bondo, wood filler), it should be ok. However if there is a lot of details that it took away or warped from printing face down you may want to reprint it, if you want to show me on Instagram I can help walk you through some steps!

    Will this fit your head? If so What’s your scale measurements at and how did you find them

    • @CoshTech
      @CoshTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a little big on my head but I made it that way for the padding, electronics, and other components to fit into. If I wanted a snug fit I definitely would’ve gone for 90% scaling, some good ways to check scaling are tape measure, 3D scanning apps, and actually holding stands for soldering irons work too!

      @@CoshTech 1 last question atm the supports for my head piece leave the undesired ring and bits of support to small to get rid of any suggestions

    • @CoshTech
      @CoshTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shulkisreallyfeelingit2251 yes I had the same problem with that on my old iron man helmet that you can see in my latest shorts video, the helmet piece had a massive ring of hard to remove supports and deep groves. Depending on how bad those supports are on that piece, you can take a 60 grit sandpaper and work it on that section until they are all gone, which may leave some deep groves instead, which is when you use that bondo glazing putty and primer to fill.
