I love you, I recently signed up I have to say that you are very good, I am only 13 years old and I play the euphonium, I wanted to compliment you on what you do, you manage to make what you do seem easy, and everyone who plays knows which is not, really good.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Happy Wednesday BrassNation! Hope you enjoy this lively arrangement of Mozart's Alleluia made and recorded for you by Maestro Drew Fennell & our amazing musicians. Don't forget to show love and support by liking, commenting and sharing. Sheet music & backing tracks available for download at www.matonizz.com/product/mozart-alleluia-quintet/ Have a great rest of the week everyone!
As always this is fantastic. I love all brass playing together and this is perfect. Also you guys do such a marvelous job of arranging all the music you perform. Thank you.
Thanks, and...fair enough. I'd agree to disagree there, however. While I have heard slower performances, I've definitely heard faster. I think the "nakedness" of a single player, as opposed to an entire first violin section, playing those triplets may be what you're reacting to. I recall as I was mixing this that I did not like how I played them! I was a bit "angry" sounding (maybe overly focused on perfect rhythm rather than pretty sound). Those should have been lighter for sure. I appreciate the feedback, nonetheless...and I think somewhere down the line there will be a version released for trombone (might already be recorded?) which is at 112 or something like that. They have that awkward slide thingy, so the tempo had to be adjusted a bit. 😜
@@TheMusicofDrewFennell sounds reasonable! No offense meant, of course. On a different note..get it? 😆 I restored a neat 1890-91 era conn wonder cornet today. Neat horn! The case is next.
@@lotsabirds, no offense taken or meant as well. I can always blame @matonizz, as he made the first recording way back and I just used his tempo for my subsequent recordings. (There's a whole ego thing where you don't want to be the guy who can't make the fast tempo, even if the fast tempo is unmusically fast, haha!)
@@lotsabirds, about the cornet, I'm always amazed at people who do that sort of work. I recent bought a restored Ray Robinson cup--something I've always wanted! It's absolutely immaculate, and honestly, I can't see myself taking it out on gigs! Thankfully, I have a Huber Mute that mimics it amazingly well. Going to (someday) do a video on these mutes--compare the old Humes & Berg to the Denis Wick, and to the Huber and RayRob.
I love when you upload these brass ensemble videos! Keep this up!
Glad you are enjoying them. I like them too, though they are definitely more work to produce than a solo. Nonetheless, there'll be many more coming.

Glad you like the music! It's been fun to put it all together, especially when the tunes themselves are great like this one.
Awesome Job everyone! Sounds great as usual!
Thanks, dominic. We try our best.
The low brass is just so rich, bravo!
Im really early and it sounds like a personal brass ensemble
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice!
Thank you very much Boris!
How are you on trombone and high brass? Cornet/trumpet/Flug
Also great job as usual team
Thanks, nyancs.
I love you guys....but 112 to 116 BPM....great performance but a touch too quick....makes the triplets stand out too much....all sounds hurried...

If I did this sort of work, I'd have to play this on repeat endlessly while I worked. th-cam.com/video/HnGsXk1NHBo/w-d-xo.html
