I don't get why some people are so hard on this game. I mean sure playing by yourself is dull but even with one other person the game is pretty solid and with 4 players it's even better, good playthrough.

I think this game has the same problem as Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. The fact that it is so different from the rest of the series and what was expected makes everyone have a bad reaction towards it, and at some point it becomes a bandwagon hating of one collective thing. Its not a bad game but it suffers from being a ratchet and clank game that does not have the basic ratchet and clank formula.
Honestly they need to bring back his retro getup. Looks old timey and cool... And cute... But then yet again... Some of us criticized for how weird ratchet's feet looked...

(Woke up one Morning, Saw My 2 older cousins playing this in the Living Room, I joined Them, We ended up finishing the Game 3 Hours later, Years Later They gave me the game to own it that I still have today) This game is the reason I Know & Love ratchet & clank today
Quire difficult to find good 4 player coop for this game, nicely done, silly use of the skins but hey part of the fun right, nicely done for you and your team though this walkthrough, hope I have some pals to play this with someday
This is almost like the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, but only four playable characters. Honestly, this game is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Definitely meant to be played with friends.
this game isn’t all bad but imo the worst thing about it is the system in which all weapons work better when all players use the same weapon. Basically all 4 players just constantly use the same weapons as one another. Other than that I don’t hate the game for being different and would even be cool with seeing this attempted again but just without that one mechanic.
Yeah true and the constant shoot the same enemy till an explosion get pretty repetetive atleast the solo bot is really good. Personally i love this game
There are some features in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One that could work well in Normal Ratchet & Clank Games such as those Big Yellow Crates that can only be opened with a Slam Attack.
Late answer but if you or someone else wonders, this game always has all the players on the same screen, like in this video. No matter if local or online co-op. So no split screen.
Ya know what would be cool? A game where you can play the usual style as a whole bunch of Ratchet & Clank characters, each one with a limited but unique set of weapons specific to them. Not exactly team stuff like this but kinda more Dynasty Warriors-esque.

what a bonzariffic game i did have i ton my ps3 til someone broke my ps3 im hoping the data is still viable in it, im a very huge ratchet n clank fan was there at the very beginning in 2003and the trouble with the streaming versions they cut off and not save when n where you want them to save at or in the middle of a boss battle it closes out and it is not the ps4 it was the server then says undergoing maintenance , which is a huge pain why not just make a mega pack of all ratchet game from ebginning to rift apart for ps5 heck they did it for kingdom hearts why not Ratchet
