I went to my super secret favorite kayak fishing spot to get on some giant redfish and the spot did not disappoint. The best part about it is redfish wasn't the only species I caught. Of course I had to take some redfish home after to do the ol' catch n cook and boy was it delicious.

Love your vids Mayne, with love from South Central Texas.
Very much appreciated. 👍🏼
wow, do them reds hit in the shallows in the summer as well?
Yes. They tend to slow down in the heat of the day though.
Looks good!
Nice big reds.....gonna need a bigger boat and ice chest....glad you threw him back.....Great video
Thanks
Do sheepshead come in there (in the Fall and Winter) to feed on the barnacles? If so, that'd make for an unusual video. We have to fish around bridges here.
Yeah I’ve caught a few back there before while fishing for reds.
Get a Net for da boat and one for the kayak. Great catch and great eat.
I used to have one for the kayak. I don’t know where it is. 😂😂😂
Great video my brother
Appreciate it.
One of the best channels out there. Keep it up
Appreciate that!
Got me missing the feeling of a slot red 🥲
Come on down brother. You always welcomed.
I never caught a red fish 🎣 in my life.. its on my bucket list for this year.. keep them coming can't wait until crabbing 🦀 🦀 get better... Respect
Oh man. It’s my favorite.
Great video and catching! That looks like such a cool place to fish… seeing the tails and having to dodge those stumps. Fun and tricky.
Such a cool catch when that red chased it near the kayak.
Awesome.
Good luck ahead!!
Thanks. Love days like that.
Cousin Vinnie!
I’m so happy for you babe
I love when you have a great day out
you ever fish Cypremort point
Never heard of it.
It’s a Louisiana State Park / Vermilion Bay ….Great place for boat or kayak fishing, also has cabins to rent, yesterday someone caught a 42 inch red 😳 Great Video🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
If thats not a test on the lunkerstick idk what is lol. Those bad boys put up the fight like i get with striper in the current here.
Yeah it is!!

Thanks man. I really appreciate the support.
Hey bud. I go to the same exact spot every other weekend and fish those cypress knees and murder the reds. Been catching specs also. Did good today actually with all the wind going on. But if u ever wanna join up and fish LMK. I don't make videos or anything. Just always fun to fish with someone. New subscriber here.
awesome thanks
Babe is that the canal you took me to where I just had the line dragging behind me and caught fish??
Nope. Not to far from there though
Somebody might need to start wearing his net like a hat when he's loading the kayak...just sayin'...and pooyah, dat's a purty spot you fishin', yeah!
I would somehow still forget it.
You need to rig up a bridle and let a big red tow you around that stump mime field in your yak.....and note to self BRING THE NET COUYON
😂😂😂
Back lash ? More like a home for wayward sparrows ,,, Been there done that
😂
