Naan Mburu Gambian Easter dessert is a special dessert/pudding made on a Good Friday in the Gambia. Naan Mburu is a very popular dessert in the Gambia made by Christians to share with their families, Muslim relatives, neighbours and friends. Naan Mburu is made with Baobab fruit and steamed rice flour. It is a very easy and unique Gambia easter dessert or pudding. Naan Mburou can also be made all year round for desserts. It's also perfect for parties, inviting friends over or family dessert.

380g Baobab
690g Rice Flour
1 1/2 cups Sugar
Mixed Spice
Nutmeg
Vanilla Extract
1 Banana, Desiccated coconut Evaporated(Optional)

Good morning. I have never heard of this dish before. I LOVE the aesthetic of the boabab tree. I never knew that the fruit can be eaten. VERY cool. I hope to see it in real some day.
